Truly an experience you need to do at least once in your life. My husband and I fell in love with Timamoon and have made a conscious effort to return for our anniversary each year. The staff go above and beyond for their guests, from specific dietary requests, to a 5-course dinner being served at your Villa. Their chef's serve mouth watering meals for their 3-course breakfast menu and 5-course dinner. The lodge is nestled in one of the most mesmerising regions in South Africa❤️ A real hidden gem that MUST be explored.

A wonderful experience that is heightened by the wonderful, caring and friendly staff. I highly recommend an in-room massage whilst you are there! The aesthetics of the villas are beautiful and should be experienced by all travellers to the area.

Beautiful secluded villa with phenomenal views, amazing staff and delicious food. The rooms are unique with different artifacts. Loved lighting the fire and really loved the big bath and the thatched day bed by the pool. We also had a picnic by the river that was super special and fun and a wonderful massage. Two nights is perfect as once you are here it's more tricky to go out and about because of a long dirt road, but not impossible. It is relaxing enough to just unwind and enjoy the Arabic/African vibe.

It's simply a unique, luxurious, tranquil & liberating place with impeccable service (thanks to Dirk, Roy, the housekeepers and dining staffs) and a wonderful vibe for romance! The only thing we didn't like was the initial drive up to the property but, beyond that, it was a lovely romantic retreat !

This trip was one of the most amazing and special trips we have ever had . There was absolutely nothing we could fault at this amazing establishment. From the staff to the food , everything was out of this world . Everyone went above and beyond with amazing views , amazing private dinners and just an amazing place .

Timamoon is absolutely magical! From the stunning views to the dreamy atmosphere...oh and let me not forget to mention the delicious food! It was so much more than we could ever imagined. It's one of those places that describing it doesn't even come near to doing it justice, you simply must go and experience it for yourself!

We had the most amazing stay. Everything was perfect, the location and the views are ideal. The villa (Moon River) is exceptional. The whole experience was wonderful. A big thank you to the staff that was so fantastic (Jabulani and Zodwa for a particular shout out). Thank you Benjamin as well at the gate that greeted us so pleasantly. We will definitely be back and spread the word that this the best lodge ever. I wish we could rate you more than 5 star!
