We spent 3 nights at Kambaku as part of our recent Honeymoon trip in South Africa and we had one of the most magical, memorable, enjoyable and special moments of our lives. The lodge rests very close to the river so there is a lot of wildlife to be seen from your private patio. Meals are brought directly to you and snacks and beverages are ordered quickly and easily. The staff is incredibly friendly and the morning safaris guided by Elvis were spectacular. The dinners were exceptional and paired with a private fire pit and excellent wines, made a special experience feel even more exceptional. Because it is small, you really valued by the staff and special requests are accommodated seamlessly. We could not have been happier with our stay and want to say a special Thank You to Garry who was so kind and so helpful during our stay. If you're looking for a small, private, friendly, serene place to spend a few days in nature and visit Kruger, this place is heavenly. thank you Kambaku team!!!

Die Lodge liegt direkt am Crocodile River südlich des Krügerparks in der Nähe des Malelane Gates. Vom Garten aus kann man dem Treiben der Wildtiere am Fluss zusehen und zuhören. Während unseres Aufenthaltes waren Nilpferde im Fluss und Elefanten und Giraffen zogen am Garten der Lodge entlang. Die Zimmer sind toll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Frühstück und Dinner auf der eigenen Terrasse mit eigenem Feuer waren fantastisch. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Eine Besonderheit dieser Lodge ist, dass es keine richtige Rezeption gibt, sondern vieles Online (Check in, Check out etc.) erledigt wird. Hat prima funktioniert. Wir haben einen halbtägigen Gamedrive in den Krügerpark gebucht. Dieser Gamedrive mit Elvis war eine 10 von 10. Fazit: Alles tip top hier. 100% Empfehlung von uns 😉

The stuff were amazing they go all out to make you feel at home, I went there for my birthday, they made my day special, they even bought me a beautiful cake, shoutout to Gary for the hospitality, & Elvis for a super game drive ,we saw all the big5 , The spa treatment is a 5star so relaxing& refreshing , the Food was delicious, everything about the Kambaku Lodge is superb

We enjoyed our stay due the beautiful surroundings and location, but this is unfortunately not a 5 star accomodation as advertised. Although the food was good there was no choices or different options and all meals were served at the room which was frustrating as if cutlery was forgotton we had to communicate via whatsapp to the kitchen. I would suggest look somewhere else if you are looking for 5 star accomodation.

What a stunning lodge, in an amazing location, with the most attentive and personable staff ready to accommodate your needs. Meals were delicious, great quality and value. Very helpful in booking a sunset drive for us. We left early most mornings for a self drive and the team arranged packed breakfast for our trip. Rooms have everything you need, was like a home away from home. Was also lovely to relax at the lodge and watch animals coming to the river all day!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Lodge war traumhaft. Jeden Tag hat uns ein Elefant direkt am Zaun besucht. Das Essen und das Team waren super, und unsere Terrasse mit eigenem Pool hätte nicht schöner sein können. Die Safaris mit Alvis haben super viel Spaß gemacht.

Die Suiten sind grosszügig und die Lage ist einmalig direkt am Crocodile River. Man kann von der Terrasse Elefanten und Nilpferde beobachten. Wer Ruhe sucht und keinen Massentourismus möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben. Elvis ist ein super Guide und findet im Kruger Park alle big 5.
