The hotel staff are very friendly, the room and corridors are clean and smells nice. Also, they were considerate when we have to checked out late because of an unexpected incident. Overall, it was a pleasant stay
I made my booking through Trip.com, where it was clearly stated that an extra bed could be added to our room for an additional charge of £30 per night. However, upon our arrival at the hotel, we were informed that the room we had booked did not accommodate an extra bed. Furthermore, we were told that a three-person room would incur an additional charge of £40 per night.
The service is extremely terrible and I feel some kind of discrimination from some staff.
Overall I thought our stay was excellent and would stay here again. Really nice and helpful as soon as we arrived. It was about a 25min walk from Waverley Station but definitely worth the stay. Lovely fresh bright cosy room with a lovely en-suite. Great coffee machine in the room a lovely touch. Breakfast was a delicious buffet and would make anything different on request depending on how you like your eggs. Lovely stay over thank you 🌟💫

Because I stayed in Aberdeen moxy last night, I have to say that the gap is a bit. The hotel staff in Aberdeen are obviously more enthusiastic, and the facilities are better. I booked all family rooms, and the facilities are very different, which may of course depend on the geographical location.
For a Hilton brand, room amenities are so poor. It is very disappointing to hear you have to pay extra £2.50 just for a shaving blade.
Location is good but parking fee is overpriced.
Room is ok, amenities are not enough. Reception service varies and some are inexperienced or have little customer care.
Breakfast was great actually. I was surprised to have Haggis at breakfast!
Room was brilliant.✨ Had a very comfortable sleep and rest everytime we go back to our cozy space. Location was slightly far from the centre (approx 36mins) but still managed to walk because of edinburgh's outstanding architectures, we barely noticed the distance we travelled. Receptionist was very nice as well. Wil recommend! ✨
Enjoyed a great stay at this accommodation for a reasonable price. The rooms were very spacious and came with all the amenities expected for a comfortable stay. The staff was very helpful and catered to all our needs. The location was a bit outside the city center but was fine, just had to walk 15 minutes to the center.
Overall I would definitely recommend!
This is not a 5 star hotel! I have to be honest, I have stayed in many 5 star hotels across Asia and to come to Scotland I had hoped for better. I booked this hotel for two nights with my daughter who is in her 20’s.
Check in was swift and the twin room we were allocated was basic and not very big. Our room overlooked the Usher Hall and Castle.
Breakfast the first morning was very disappointing. There is no buffet breakfast, only al a carte. You were to choose a starter eg. Porridge, overnight oats and then a main: full cooked breakfast, pancakes with bacon. However, all the food came together, which meant that if we’d eaten the yogurt first, the main courses would have been cold. I complained to two different servers and neither of them offered so much as an apology.
To use the One Spa, you have to have booked a spa room or pay extra…definitely not worth it. This should be included for all rooms.
Don’t book this hotel, there are many better hotels in Edinburgh for the same if not less money.
The service attitude of the front desk and the restaurant is generally good. The breakfast bread is well baked. The receptionist has a polite and professional smile. The room cleaning is not good. The quilt is very smelly. I guess it is because the quilt cover is not changed. Some cleaning staff will not take the initiative to replenish the tea and bottled water in the room. I asked an older white-skinned cleaning lady to replenish the tea bags. The tea bags she replenished were mixed with disgusting garbage. I can only think that she has poor eyesight and didn't pay attention. It was so disgusting that I decided to check out and move to another place.
I booked a hotel to see Edinburgh Castle, but the room was on the E floor, which was very short. The streetlight pole happened to be in front of the window. Although I could face the castle, the view was very poor. The facilities are old and the faucets are splashing everywhere. Moreover, there are very few sockets, the heating is useless, and the wind blows coldly. The winter in Edinburgh is unbearable.

Amazing
HhohoFront desk experience was great and excellent. The room was gorgeous, enormous and wondrous! Wish we had coffee pods for the machine. It rained all day, and we ventured to a grocery store just to buy some pods but they didn't stock it. Would have been nice to have this little extra included with such an elegant hotel and experience.
Otherwise, loved it |!
CCANThe hotel location is very good, very close to Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street, it is a little far away from Royal Mile Street, but can be reached on foot, the town is very suitable for walking.
The hotel implements unmanned management, and you can open the door and the room door yourself according to the password you check in. We are a family of 5 staying with children and living suites. The rooms are large and clean and well-equipped. You can cook your own meals. Tableware and pots are fully equipped (but I do n’t see a microwave). We are accustomed to the British diet. The house even provides equipment such as vacuum cleaners and washing machines, which is in line with our home habits.
The price is slightly higher, but for the case of five of us, it is still a lot more cost-effective than booking two single rooms, especially it is really good to be able to cook by ourselves.
In particular, we need to remind everyone that the hotel will send you an email 7 days and 1 day before the check-in, which will contain the room number and password for the check-in. If you booked on Ctrip, because they may have booked through other channels, the reserved mailbox is not ours, we cannot receive the mail, we must contact Ctrip customer service one day in advance, get this information, and then Can stay. Because the apartment is unmanned, it will be inconvenient to communicate if there is a temporary problem.
GGuest UserEspecially satisfied, it was amazing as soon as I entered the room. The ancient city outside the window was like a picture. It was so pleasant to have an afternoon tea in front of the window! The room is very new, clean and tidy, the bathroom is oversized, the open kitchen is complete, the most satisfying stay in the UK is here, tomorrow from the Highlands back to Edinburgh and want to stay for another night, but unfortunately there is no room.
AAdamJohnHad the pleasure of staying at the Hub Premier Inn in Edinburgh and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and accommodation that I received during my stay. As a first-time visitor to your hotel, I was not quite sure what to expect, but I have to say that my experience exceeded my expectations.
I had decided to take a trip with my son to Edinburgh to show him the sights and give him a little taste of Scottish culture. I was not familiar with your hotel before booking my stay, but after a little research, I decided to give it a chance. I have to say that I was not disappointed. The Hub Premier Inn was situated in a great location for exploring the city on foot. It was close enough to the castle to make for a convenient visit, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful at night. We were able to explore the city via Princess Street or take back streets to the Castle entrance and the Edinburgh museum.
Overall, I would highly recommend your hotel to others who are looking for a great place to stay in Edinburgh. The quality of service, accommodation, and location exceeded my expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I hope to have the chance to visit Hub Premier Inn again in the future.
GGuest UserMy recent hotel stay was a bit of a mixed experience. While the hotel was clean and well-equipped, there were several issues that detracted from my overall satisfaction.
Before arriving, I had communicated with the hotel via email and was told that they could be reached via WhatsApp. However, upon arrival, I was unable to get a response from the hotel on WhatsApp. Additionally, there was no reception area, and check-in had to be done over the phone, which required multiple long-distance phone calls and extra fees.
The day before check-in, I received a last-minute email from the hotel requesting a deposit, but they did not provide any information on how to make the payment. Not all of the staff were willing to provide assistance, but the last person I spoke to was patient and helpful, which allowed me to check in smoothly.
One major safety concern was that there was a step outside the bathroom, but the floor was not marked, making it easy to trip and fall. Another hazard was the transparent coffee table in the living room, which caused several stumbling incidents that could have led to injuries.
Overall, while the hotel was clean and well-maintained, the issues with communication, extra fees, and safety hazards detracted from my experience.
GGuest UserHalf an hour's walk from Prince Street, the hotel's service is very good, but we chose a room without windows, so it was a bit stuffy. Facilities are still relatively new
GGuest UserEdinburgh main station hotels are relatively expensive, but this one is not too far from Haymarket, so you can save some travel expenses. Even so, the hotel facilities and reception staff are great, and the restaurant also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is a very convenient choice!
