Lovely restored house in a neighborhood (more like a B&B). There is a bus that runs into Edinburgh proper or you can take the mile walk. The hotel gives very good recommendations for local dining. Parking can be difficult (limited on-street parking for non-residents). No eating in the rooms.

Very lovely room and a great location for getting public transport into the heart of the city. My wife loved the decor especially. Very friendly administrative and cleaning staff who were greatly accommodating of early bag drop requests.

Top plek! Vriendelijke gastheer, mooie kamer en prachtig en schoon sanitair. Heerlijk geslapen. Alles super netjes, hygiënisch en goed verzorgd. Prima ontbijttentjes en eetgelegenheden op loopafstand (Earl Grange en Wee the Greek vonden wij erg goed) en bijna voor de deur de bushalte om naar het mooie centrum te gaan. Aanrader!!

A beautiful house in a great location for exploring the city. The nearest bus stop is just 50 meters away. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and stylish, and everything is perfectly clean and well-maintained. The bed has comfortable mattresses and lovely pillows; we slept well. The Wi-Fi is very good. Parking is a bit limited, but we found a parking space quickly.

Chambre à baldaquin...astucieux car la hauteur du lit permet de glisser les valises dessous laissant l'espace nécessaire au déplacement sans gène.D’ailleurs toute la chambre est aménagée avec intelligence...chaque détail à été réfléchi: du panier bouilloire à la salle de bains tout est parfait. Calme et propreté: rien à redire. Pas de petit déjeuner sur place mais une liste de bars aux alentours est disponible, nous n'avons pas essayé. Parking aisé et gratuit dans une rue peu éloignée. Déplacement aisée en bus (ils sont nombreux à proximité) pour le centre d’Édimbourg pour l'équivalent de 2,50 ou 3 euros. Seul regret: le bar au RDC n'était pas disponible à la clientèle. Accueil souriant et sympathique pour le check in et out. Un prix un peu élevé ( le change €/£ est aussi responsable) mais le rapport qualité/prix est justifié. Ce séjour restaura un très bon souvenir. P.L.V.

We hebben een fijne tijd gehad met zeer mooie kamer waar niks aan ontbrak. Schone kamer en vriendelijke gastheer. Parkeren ging om de hoek waar het gratis was. Het lag vlakbij een bushalte waar we makkelijk Edinburgh in konden gaan. Zou hier zeker nog een keer terugkomen.

A few days enjoying all Edinburgh has to offer spent recently, and having a local beautiful hotel to stay in made the trip even better. Very friendly hosts, super helpful and gave useful advice to help us. Extremely clean and comfortable room with everything you could hope for. Stunning hotel and would definitely recommend and we will be back.

We stayed here when visiting Edinburgh for the weekend. The hotel is easy to find, well located for public transport and there was plenty of parking off a nearby side street (Suffolk Road). The room was clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom benefited from a nice hot, powerful shower. The host was friendly and able to provide advice on getting into Edinburgh using the bus.
