Edinburgh Backpackers

Since it is a backpacker hotel, the rooms are private but the bathroom is shared. Good •The staff are friendly and will deal with any problems you may have. Even when one of the showers was broken, it was repaired the next day, so it was very helpful. •The bath and toilet are always clean. •There is a shared kitchen, so you can cook and heat up side dishes to save on food costs in Edinburgh, where prices are high. •The location is great, and it is just a short walk from Edinburgh Castle. It is perfect for visiting any tourist spot! •I had an early morning flight on the day I checked out, so I left the hotel around 3am and walked 5-6 minutes to the bus stop, but the street was well-lit and I wasn't afraid to walk alone, so it was easy to spend time there. Not good If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that the walls in the rooms are thin, so footsteps can echo and you can hear the conversation of people in the next room. I was tired and had a deep sleep, so it didn't bother me much after I fell asleep. Also, because it is a backpacker hotel, you need to bring your own amenities. If you forgot shampoo, soap, etc., you could buy them at a nearby supermarket. Highly recommended for people who want to keep costs down while still enjoying sightseeing!

Convenient location and sufficient heating (the only two advantages)

I don't know about other rooms, but the shower in my suite was broken and unusable. The water kept changing between very cold and very hot. I was shivering in the middle of winter and couldn't take a shower. I don't know what was going on.

Overall it's relatively neat and tidy. It's a very cost-effective option in Edinburgh, so I ordered it.

The room is very small and the bunk bed is unstable. The only advantage is that the location is really good

Excellent hostel, we got a room in a separate building, very clean, there was a small kitchen with a microwave oven, dishes are available, close to the sights
