The hotel has a strategic location, very close to all the major attractions in Edinburgh, within walking distance. The facilities are also very complete, and you can also cook yourself. It is really friendly for those of us who are not used to Western food. You can also taste fresh beer for free on the day of check-in. We checked out at 5:30 in the morning, and the hotel also asked us to prepare a portable breakfast. The service was considerate. Stayed for two nights in total and had a great experience!

This hotel is a hotel that combines bar, catering and accommodation. After getting off the plane from Edinburgh Airport, we took the tram to the city center and then navigated to walk to the hotel. Great hotel, great room, great location, friendly staff. Breakfast was great and fulfilling. They had various options, but I chose the full English breakfast which was delicious. The room was spacious and clean with lots of features and amenities. Very central location with easy access to the new town and the old town. The train station is 5 min walk from the hotel. I will definitely be staying at the Doghouse again.

Very cost-effective, within walking distance to the train station, the hotel room is large, and the breakfast is quite generous.
The only drawback is that the room provides a lot of drinks, but most of them are not free. And there is no elevator, which is not particularly convenient for guests with large luggage.
