If the wind from the Gaziabad dumpyard is blowing towards you, then entering or existing the hotel is a bad bad experience! Once inside the smell is not an issue. Rest all is good, clean tidy room. Another issue, outside food not allowed.

IIDL Suites: Convenient Location, Dated Decor IIDL Suites, located in East Delhi, offers a convenient option for those visiting the Akshardham Temple, which is just a stone's throw away. The hotel enjoys a quiet location and provides decent dining options with its restaurant and room service. However, the hotel's decor and rooms feel somewhat dated and could benefit from a refresh. While the location offers good access to most parts of Delhi, the hotel's ”no visitor” policy is an unusual restriction that could be inconvenient for some guests. Pros: - Proximity to Akshardham Temple - Quiet location - Decent restaurant and room service Cons: - Dated decor and rooms - No visitor policy Overall: IIDL Suites is a decent choice for those prioritizing proximity to Akshardham Temple and a peaceful environment. However, its dated facilities and restrictive visitor policy might be a drawback for some travelers.

Joey's Hostel was by far my favorite hostel in my trip to India, so much so that I ended up staying there for three times! The location is perfect, close to the metro and just a short tuk tuk ride to Old Delhi. The facilities are great, with the room I stayed in having a comfortable bed. But what makes it so good is how great the staff is. Never have I found more welcoming staff, who make you feel safe and go out of your way to help you navigate the chaos of New Delhi. Special shotout to my brother Suhel! The highlight is for sure the rooftoop, with the best possible atmosphere if you are into meeting people, which as a solo traveller I was. Also, the dinner they served there was probably the best meal I had in India. Could not recommend this one enough!

Everything is great except the key card kept having problem and need to reset. In my 10 days of stay, I have to reset the key for at least 3 times. Nice view and nice breakfast! Even the in-room lunch and dinner are great! I would recommend this hotel to my friends and if I am going New Delhi again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
Holiday Inn New Delhi Mayur Vihar Noida, an IHG Hotel

Mayur Vihar Phase 1
This is a very plush Holiday inn which we didn’t expect. Everything is great and there are plenty options for food. Security lift and all feels very secure. We enjoyed a nice break although it rained so we didn’t try the pool. But pricey for food which matches the hotel standard. Staff excellent. Everything immaculate.
