The only thing to mention is that the details of hygiene need to be improved, but it may be that there are too many people during the National Day, which is understandable. It will be ok if it is strengthened a little more in the future. I will choose to stay here if I have the chance in the future!

The hotel is an old hotel, clean and hygienic, with thoughtful service. Because we arrived on New Year's Eve, we upgraded the room type. Xiao Du at the front desk was very nice, and reminded us that there might be no restaurants open for dining during the New Year. Coming from the south, I felt it was too dry, so I added a humidifier. You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

Accommodation in Dunhuang is relatively cheap in the off-season, and the service is also relatively good. Our family unanimously said that we regretted going to experience the Moroccan big tent desert camping last night. How comfortable it is here! The breakfast on the second day was also great. The restaurant was in the garden, in the mist, a bit dreamy! There were quite a lot of dishes! The child was 11 years old, and only 20 yuan was charged for breakfast, which was fair and reasonable! It was a pity that I only stayed for one night! The Dunhuang Night Market, which was just a few steps away, was just a quick walk! Dunhuang Hotel was the hotel with the best experience for me on this Grand Loop! I stayed in Chaka for 1,600 yuan and Dachaidan for 850 yuan, neither of which was as good as Dunhuang Hotel! I will definitely stay here next time!

The service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law. The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers). This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

I have travelled a lot in China the last 5 years. This is probably one of the best hotels I have been. Clean, comfortable, close to everything, very nice staff. Have everything you need in the room. They leave you presents in the room, have all the free drinking water you need, free apples, just excellent welcome feeling. They go as far as pointing the shower head to the side everytime they clean the room so you don't get wet when you turn on the shower. More expensive and luxurios hotels have a lot to learn from these guys. Just excellent.
