Family-friendly Hotels in Dunhuang

The hotel is in a good location, with many restaurants around, including Fanji Jingyuan Lamb and Alibaba Barbecue recommended by Xiaohongshu, with many choices. The hotel has its own parking lot, and the service is also very good. There are also thoughtful gifts, and the room is also equipped with snacks and drinks, which is very comfortable. There are also many types of breakfast. The only thing to mention is that the details of hygiene need to be improved, but it may be that there are too many people during the National Day, which is understandable. It will be ok if it is strengthened a little more in the future. I will choose to stay here if I have the chance in the future!

Xiao Du's warm hospitality made us feel at home. The facilities are pretty good. It takes one minute longer to get to the night market than the hotel next to it which is twice as expensive. There is an underground parking lot, which makes it more convenient to drive by yourself. Not bad, but the breakfast is not particularly rich, which is a little bit missing.

You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

Accommodation in Dunhuang is relatively cheap in the off-season, and the service is also relatively good. The hotel is not far from Mingsha Mountain and is also relatively close to the Dunhuang Night Market. This hotel has airport pick-up service, which is very good. I booked it for one day and directly renewed it for 2 days. The hotel is clean and hygienic, so I won't say much about it. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the toilet is electric, and the breakfast is very rich and superb.

I experienced the legendary desert camping the night before and was extremely disappointed! The second night I stayed at the Dunhuang Hotel in the city! The hotel has a parking lot. The front desk guy is very kind and patient. Because the previous hotel did not log out of my information, I could not log in to the system. The guy opened a room for me and brought my family to check in first, and left a phone number for me to find the previous hotel and call him after logging out, so I don’t have to run back and forth! In the past, many hotels were begging for good reviews and begging to praise someone, but Dunhuang Hotel didn’t! The heritage of the old state guesthouse is OK! I was surprised when I entered the room. It turned out that the guy quietly upgraded my room. Maybe he saw that I was tired with my family. The suite is great! All kinds of facilities are very new, and the details are also very good! Clean and sanitary, mattresses, pillows, and quilts are very comfortable! Very good! Our family unanimously said that we regretted going to experience the Moroccan big tent desert camping last night. How comfortable it is here! The breakfast on the second day was also great. The restaurant was in the garden, in the mist, a bit dreamy! There were quite a lot of dishes! The child was 11 years old, and only 20 yuan was charged for breakfast, which was fair and reasonable! It was a pity that I only stayed for one night! The Dunhuang Night Market, which was just a few steps away, was just a quick walk! Dunhuang Hotel was the hotel with the best experience for me on this Grand Loop! I stayed in Chaka for 1,600 yuan and Dachaidan for 850 yuan, neither of which was as good as Dunhuang Hotel! I will definitely stay here next time!

The service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law. The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers). This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

I have travelled a lot in China the last 5 years. This is probably one of the best hotels I have been. Clean, comfortable, close to everything, very nice staff. Have everything you need in the room. They leave you presents in the room, have all the free drinking water you need, free apples, just excellent welcome feeling. They go as far as pointing the shower head to the side everytime they clean the room so you don't get wet when you turn on the shower. More expensive and luxurios hotels have a lot to learn from these guys. Just excellent.

The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Shazhou Night Market, which is very close. You can feel the passion and romance of Dunhuang nightlife. It is also only 5 minutes' walk to the Bouncing Pipa Statue, where you can take photos and record beautiful moments. It is also close to Mogao Grottoes and Crescent Lake Scenic Area, which is convenient for travel. The breakfast is very rich and worth recommending! Thanks to the hotel's station attendant, it was very dark but on time! Like 👍

The front desk service was very good, and it was sent to the elevator, which was very design. The hotel has integrated a lot of Dunhuang elements in both the room and the lobby. There is a studio in the hotel lobby. There are many things about Mogao Grottoes in the studio. People can learn more about Dunhuang and understand the history of Dunhuang. It is a very good experience. Like
