Ashley House

What a lovely guest house the Ashley House Guest house is. Darren its own is a lovely guy. He welcomes you with a wonderful smile and is extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for this man. We had the fmily room which has 3 beds in and it is a large enough room with enough storage as well. The bathroom was OK too. Something I noticed is everything is very clean. I was expecting being a guest house there might be some dust about but not here. It is spotless. I couldnt fault anything, The breakfast are scrummy and there are also awards displayed aswell that Darren has won dated March this year. The Ashley House is a short walk to Broughty Ferry shops ad beach, 5 minutes if that, where you can find Pubs, shops, Restaurants and coffee shops and allsorts as well as the train station. I cannot recommend this place enough. We have already booked for next year. This place is a little gem and doe get booked very quickly with returning customers, so if you want to book it then dont hang about. Cannot wait to go back x

Lovely large room which was very clean and contains all you need for your stay. Good location for local bars and restaurants which are just a 10 minute walk away. Broughty ferry is a lovely harbour town and Darren has a great knowledge of the area which helps if you plan to go further affield. He also cooks a great breakfast.

We arrived at Ashley bed and breakfast and we were greeted by the owner who was the most kindest, friendliest and warm hearted person. My husband hurt his back the day before we arrived and the owner most kindly carried our case upstairs as well as allowing us to leave our luggage in our room earlier than the check in time. The family room had comfortable beds. The best i have slept in while staying away from home in a long time. The room decor is outdated, we all have different tastes but it is clean. The b&b is a 5 min walk to the shops and beach.

Spent one night here for a family wedding. Great location close to family, price was very good. Room very clean and comfy and the breakfast was superb. Darren is a great host and can’t do enough for you. Will definitely recommend and will use as first choice next time we need to be in Dundee overnight.

Highly recommend. Very good value and warm and friendly owners. Stayed with our dog for 2 night. Great Scottish breakfast. Parking is good. Rooms were very clean. Not far from Broughty Ferry high street and the train station.
