Clean, comfortable, staff reliable and offered a really good service. Pet friendly a asset to them, highly recommended.

A place to be and logde. I appreciate every bit of my stay. The staff were helpful. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Not the best travelodge out there to be honest. Decided to go with this because it was cheaper and compared to the other limited options in Dundee. Reception is bare and not so clean. Seating area limited. You have to pay extra for everything else just like low budget airlines that draw you in with their low prices. Wifi is free only for the first 30mins. After that, you have to pay extra for wifi. Early checkin or late checkout attract extra charges. Personally that’s the first time I’ve experienced that. Hotels typically just remain flexible and let you check in early if a room is available. Room is basic. Only two sockets by the desk farr away from the bed so you can’t charge anything by your bedside. Staff are okay and respectful. So go for it if on a tight budget and very short stay but you need to manage expectations and be prepared for the extras

Easy, welcoming check in. Room and hotel itself in need of updating, paint peeling off walls in places, soap dispensers leaking. Beds were clean and fresh and room cleanliness was acceptable. Decent place to spend a night. Breakfast average buffet breakfast. Staff more than made up for any shortfalls as they were very attentive and accommodating and I would definitely return due to first class service.

We spent one night in this hotel, on arrival looked a little scruffy from the outside but upon entering were pleasantly surprised by the interior. Spotlessly clean and modern, receptionist lovely, spacious family room with comfy beds. Breakfast well stocked and cooked. Couldn’t fault it. Wish we’d stayed longer.

Arrived to find the hotel looking like an run down ruin, rooms are tiny and as basic as basic gets. The exterior has paint flaking off the walls and windows where there seems to be plywood covering some of the windows (hardly welcoming) There seems to be homeless people accommodated in the hotel which is not the experience we were looking for during our last minute stay in the area. This is not highlighted anywhere on their website so be aware this before booking as the staff on reception said people did complain about it a lot but unfortunately any complaints would need to be made to the Customer Service team. Reception staff on arrival to be fair was excellent as done all she could and gave us numbers to call for Central reservation and also customer service who were no use at all and could provide no assistance apart from what the computer was telling them. We immediately tried to cancel our booking as soon as we entered and after the carpark experience but were told it would not be possible. If the website would have shown more accurate pictures of rooms and their condition and made it clear that they also assist in a homeless scheme this would have never been an option. We are hoping to get a refund and booking another hotel close by as we honestly do not feel safe in the hotel and would rather lose our money than chance staying here. This hotel should not be open to the public. The WiFi is free for the first 30 mins only then you have to pay, even the free 30 minutes is poor connectivity, elevator looks and feels like a hospital mortuary elevator. Our hotel towels had blood on them which tells you all you need to know! There were cigarette butts in the elevator where the hotel had a certain smell about it which just lingered everywhere. The entire place is tired and run down and it seems evident why this Travel Lodge is lacking the investment and tlc like the other branches. Avoid at all costs as this ruined our weekend break where we left early and returned home as we did not feel safe or want to leave any of our things unattended in the room. When checking out the staff at the hotel again highlighted that no refund will be possible which seems to be they pre scripted response to everything despite the condition of their facility and lack of transparency on it's clientele. Do not book this hotel, ever!
