LLanJiangWhen you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into âwhat would it beâ, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and Iâm grateful for the ownersâ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.

Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. Itâs a place that move your mind from âIâm staying in a B&Bâ to âIâm staying in a home.â The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where Iâve experienced that personal touch.

We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path. Â We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novelâthe little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming âcareer life to mountain lifeâ story all made the experience very special.

I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.Â

A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

People: The team here is simply amazing â warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They provide such a high level of hospitality, always noticing and responding to every need with kindness.
Food: Every meal was a delight. From the fresh breakfasts to beautifully crafted dinners, the chef truly has golden hands. The menu combines taste, health, and creativity â each dish felt like a small masterpiece.
Rooms: Our room was spotless, cosy, and full of thoughtful details. The design reflects nature and harmony â from decorations to layout â creating a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere.
Activities: The daily program is fantastic. We enjoyed light morning exercises, deep meditation sessions, and even had the chance to try calligraphy. My wife also joined some paid artistic mini-workshops and brought back unique handcrafted souvenirs for her friends â such a special experience!
Location: The resort has the perfect setting. It is close to the Giant Panda Garden, Jiezi Ancient Town, and Mount Qingcheng, yet the atmosphere is completely peaceful. Surrounded by birdsong, cicadas, and trees, we breathed fresh air every day. The gardens inside the resort are stunning, with many lovely spots for photos and videos.
Overall, Hegu Harmony Valley Retreat is a place where hospitality, nature, and culture come together. We left with our hearts full, and I canât recommend it enough for anyone visiting Dujiangyan.

GGuest UserI stopped in Dujiangyan for a night on my way back to Chengdu and found this B&B on the spur of the moment. They gave me a free upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. Highlights: 1. Located right in the old town, just a 10-minute walk from the Blue Tears. 2. Friendly service. The front desk agent thoughtfully helped me move my luggage to the second floor, offered parking directions, and even came downstairs to see me off before I left. 3. The noodles for breakfast were delicious and prepared in advance. 4. The coffee they chose for afternoon tea was delicious. They also served white fungus soup in the evening. 5. The environment was amazing! The public space is spacious and perfect for relaxing, as shown in the pictures. 6. The room was very comfortable. Although it faces the street, the soundproofing was excellent.
Highly recommended to anyone visiting Dujiangyan!

Though the property itself has no lift but the lady boss helped to carry my big luggage to the upper floor, I felt so thankful. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with good amenities. The lady boss was very nice and kind, she gave us all the info of all attractions and where to find good local food in Dujiangyan. We enjoyed our stay there very much

SSarah Welsh1We have just had the most amazing 2 night stay here and it was perfection! The hotel is situated high in the mountains but only 20 minutes away from Panda Valley. The rooms were very clean and are supplied with everything you could need. The views were exceptional and we instantly fell in love with this place! The hotel is well worth the price paid. There are evening meals available but it is also possible to order takeaway from the restaurants in the city to deliver. The WiFi worked perfectly and there was plenty of hot water for the showers and the spring water spa bath in the room. The beds were huge and so comfortable, it was blissful!
The customer service was the greatest! The staff were happy to help with every request and were so friendly, they really made the stay memorable. The staff helped with small items such as mosquito spray (although it wasnât needed), lighters and other items we had forgotten. They also helped us to book our tickets and arrange our trips for the following days to the temple and Panda Valley. They also went out of their way to drive us to these places and made sure we were able to get inside as we donât read Chinese! As I said, exceptional service!
We very much look forward to staying here again and highly recommend to anyone. Thank you to all of the staff at Sanmoun Villas for a wonderful and unforgettable stay đĽ°

Our room was very spacious, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the private hot spring was spotlessly clean. For my child's birthday, the butler thoughtfully surprised us with a cake, demonstrating truly attentive service. The complimentary photoshoot provided by the hotel was highly professional. The styling and makeup were beautifully done, and combined with the hotel's gorgeous setting, we were extremely happy with the resulting photos. The photographer was also excellent at guiding the children on how to pose.

As a result, it was very embarrassing to get stuck in the middle. If you hike up to Laojun Pavilion, it will take another two hours. If you take the cable car, you have to walk down the mountain to the gate, and then queue up for a boat and cable car, which will delay time and waste energy. I wanted to save time and energy, but I was misled. It is also recommended that businesses do their homework before promoting their own location to avoid misleading tourists. #Room facilities The mountain view room is a double room. The space in the room is not large. The environment is the worst in this Chengdu trip. The environment outside the room is okay.
