Wonderful stay! Bernie is so kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Great location and great advice on places to see. Rooms clean and pretty. Facilities well kept and decorated. Very cozy. Shower was nice and hot! We felt at home and would definitely stay here again. High recommendation!

We stayed here in April 2025 after our arrival in Dublin at the start of our Ireland tour. It was ideal for our purposes in a number of respects. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, with lots of suggestions for activities both in Dublin and beyond. The location (outside the center) was quiet and had excellent access to the bus and tram system. We found it to be a perfect base for our activities in Dublin.

Bernie and PJ are the most wonderful hosts! My wife and I and our 2 granddaughters, aged 7 and 9 stayed with them for 2 nights. Bernie was so kind and exceeded all of our expectations. She even gave us lifts into downtown Dublin and interesting tours on the way. She is rightly proud of her hometown! We stayed in the family room on the top floor which was spotless. The Glasnevin neighborhood is lovely and safe. The bus trip into downtown is quick, frequent, and inexpensive. If you're looking for a high quality Dublin B&B at a fair rate, look no further!

This place is cozy and welcoming, and Bernie knows the BEST places for exploration, food, beer, and music!!! The neighborhood is quiet -- great little coffee shop nearby (Filo), and lots to explore with the Glasnevin Cemetery and Botanic Gardens. The Town Center is easily accessed by bus.

Wonderful place to stay in Dublin! Lovely, clean apartment and wonderful owner. Bernie is the loveliest person and even drove to us to give us a bag we’d forgotten at the B&B. She will give you directions to basically anywhere in the city and tips on the best places to go and best times to go them. Would absolutely recommend Botanic View B&B if you’re staying in Dublin!

I live in Dublin, but I needed a place for my Grandad to stay while visiting me. I've used other B+Bs before, but they were all booked. I then found this place online and decided to give it a go. I wish I found this place sooner. From the get--go, I knew we found a special place. When checking in, my Grandad asked the Owner what time breakfast was.. She then asked him, "What time do YOU want breakfast?!". Wow-that level of personalisation stuck out to me immediately. My Grandad had the most comfortable, warm and enjoyable stay. His room was super clean and very comfy. He had his own bathroom, and the place was kitted out with a television, hairdryer and toiletries. My Grandad said his breakfasts were so yummy. He had options of full english, cereals and fruit. The whole B+B has this traditional, homely vibe. Family photos of days gone by are on the walls, and there are book shelves where guests can help themselves. The B+B is situated a few mins walk from McDonalds, Pizza Places and Tesco (a grocery store). So if you need anything, you don't need to go far. The City Centre is right by, which is ideal because I don't drive. Bernie, the Owner was so warm, helpful and amazing. It was raining during my Grandad's stay which limited what we could do and see. I don't drive, and ON HER OWN, she offered to drive us through Phoenix Park, so we can experience it. She advised that it's better to see the place in a car-She was right! And she even drove us past the Guinness Storehouse, giving us the history of the area and insider knowledge that you wouldn't find on wikipedia. Mind you, she did this out of the goodness of her heart. Again, where else will you see this level of personalization? Really going above and beyond! Bernie is also super knowledgeable and gives the best advice on which attractions to see, which are worth paying for, and not just trying to extort you for money-and even the history behind certain buildings/monuments. It's no surprise that my Grandad asked her for her business card, so that he can recommend her to everyone back home in the UK. I am happy because I have peace of mind that my Grandad (and other family from abroad) will always have a great place to stay at, when they visit me. I can't recommend this place enough. The value you receive is not reflected in the price. I would pay triple than what is charged. Thank you Bernie! You and your B+B really stood out to my Grandad and helped make his stay in Dublin to be memorable and enjoyable. He can't stop talking about what a great stay it was. He's now already planning his next visit! 😄

I booked this B&B at the last moment to add a few days in Dublin following a work trip to Limerick. I didn’t have any particular expectations but I was delighted with my stay. The hosts were very friendly and offered advice on things to see on arrival, something I hadn’t researched myself. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet - I slept better than I do at home. The location was perfect - close to Glasnevin Cemetery and the Botanic Gardens and it took me less than half an hour to walk into the city centre. For those not keen on the walk, there are excellent bus connections to Dublin Airport and the city centre, which are much cheaper than taxis or driving. One tip, buy a Leap card, which you can load with credit to use on public transport throughout Ireland - it’s much easier than having to have the right cash fare ready. I don’t usually eat breakfast but I did on this trip and it was excellent. I had the full Irish breakfast (similar to a full English) and it filled me up for the whole day. I spent my days exploring Dublin city centre and had my evening meal at a local pub. There are plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance and if you want a takeaway (again, many choices) you can, just eat it downstairs, not in your room. I have never written a review for somewhere I’ve stayed before but on this occasion I felt I had to because I was so pleased with my stay and thankful for an alternative to the overpriced hotels closer to the city centre. I got home last night and I’m already wishing I could go back! Lovely hosts, lovely room, delicious breakfast, great location - if you can get a booking at this Bed & Breakfast, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!
