Donnybrook Hall

Everything was great. In a lovely area,Just around the corner from Herbert Park which is a lovely green area in the city well used by people. Very easy to find, and ideal if staying overnight while attending the Aviva. The gentleman who met me on arrival was very friendly and very helpful and really made me feel at ease. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and secure staying here. The room was spacious with a good size bathroom with good lighting. The bed was so comfortable (I even said it to the lad when I was checking out how great I slept). Will definitely be looking to stay here for all future overnight stays in Dublin. Thank you for a great stay.

Stay away from this hotel !!! So I made a booking and an unexpected incident happened and I had to cancel, I booked 3 nights and paid in advance. I have been in contact with them for a while and they have not being wanting to refund me. The service is so poor. They will just take your money and you will not get it back.

I visited in September and loved it so I returned. I was sad that Terry had retired but was very pleased that the new owners are keeping everything virtually the same and it continues to be the charming place I love. I was happy to see that Martine is still here. She makes you feel like family. Cui Wei (CY) was welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a language barrier but his delightful personality makes up for it. Ivy is absolutely amazing, professional and efficient. There was a bit of a problem with my reservation which had been booked via email in December during the transition when I had difficulty with the website. Ivy got everything sorted out and it all went smoothly in the end. She responds to emails super fast and her professionalism and respect is great. Donnybrook Hall is also super close to the Air Coach airport pickup and buses into City Center..

3 nights. Three night stay. Situated on a quiet, mostly one way road. Not as grand as name suggests, end- of- terrace with extension. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking is a single space in front of extension. Bed comfy, shower good, plenty of hot water.

Room ok. The lighting in the room was poor...could have been brighter. But overall comfortable enough.
