The exquisite old money style design will not make people feel amazing, but there is nothing that makes you feel uncomfortable. Looking at the Burj Khalifa while relaxing in the swimming pool should be the special highlight of this hotel. The public space has a strong fragrance, which is also a kind of style. I have a glasses case that I don't know where to put it, and I can't find it, which is a little regretful.

I've booked a room named "fountain view", but the fountain was not even partially visible from the room.
I had to go out to the balcony and lean and turn to left to be able to see the fountain.
They managed to change the room with a nice view of the fountain, but only after I've issued multiple complaints.
(At first they insisted that the room was supposed to be partial fountain view, but we didn't even have partial view. not even a glipmse of the fountain.)
And I stayed in this hotel 2 months ago, and they still haven't canceled my deposit fee.
I've tried calling and emailing but haven't heard back.
I looked up on the internet and found similar reviews addressing the same deposit issue.
I am a frequent traveller and have numerous experience of staying at many hotels around the world, but I've never seen a five-star hotel with such an issue.
I liked the facilities and the location, but I am not going to stay at Palace Downtown again.

The room is nice, close to Dubai Mall, just a few minutes' walk away, and also close to the Dubai Fountain. The breakfast is also very rich, and parking is very convenient with doorman service.
