I’m writing this with deep frustration and disappointment. Due to an unexpected visa issue, I was unable to travel to Dubai as planned. I reached out to Vintage Grand Hotel well in advance to explain the situation — I wasn’t asking for a full refund, just a bit of understanding. I even told them they could charge me for one night as a cancellation fee.
But they refused. No empathy. No flexibility. Instead, they went ahead and charged me for the entire stay, as if my circumstances meant nothing. I feel completely helpless — not only did I lose the opportunity to visit, but I also had to pay a high price for a room I never stayed in.
It’s painful to feel like just another transaction to a place that advertises hospitality. There was no grand gesture from Vintage Grand Hotel — just a cold policy and a complete lack of humanity.
