Hotel Amadeus Dresden Neustadt

When I arrived at the hotel, I received a warm welcome and was happy to have made a good choice. But beware, the scam trap had snapped shut. I was immediately offered an upgrade; after all, the staff said I should feel comfortable there. However, upon entering the room, I found an unpleasant surprise. It was a room facing the street (I actually wanted to be in the backyard). Inside, there were stains on every piece of furniture, on the walls, and on the carpet. A pungent perfume smell from the carpet mingled with stale smoke. The entire furniture arrangement made no sense, with no outlet or lamp near the bed. The bathroom was spartan but clean. It lacked some love. It felt like a cold, white room. Unfortunately, there was also some mold on the shower head holder and a cracked pane of the shower screen. Only the bed was clean and comfortable. The rest of the hotel is also very run-down; the closer you get to the kitchen, the stronger the kitchen smell becomes. The breakfast was okay, except for the juice, which tasted like it was in the refrigerator. Sausage that was back on the buffet the next day and developed a brown crust. Cucumbers were slightly stale one day. Otherwise the breakfast was good, tasty rolls, everything was there but the quality wasn't that great and the food wasn't presented very well. I didn't eat in the hotel that evening. The general condition of the hotel is run down, which is a real shame as the problems could have been quickly resolved or improved with timely repairs and good housekeeping. When I complained I received no help or apologies. The hotel employee just looked at me and didn't react. A younger employee at least wrote down the problems. But nothing happened.

We were given a room that was nothing like the one shown in the hotel's photo gallery on Booking. It was unreasonable to spend the night in that room. Unfortunately, we were unable to be offered another room as the hotel was fully booked for the Dresden City Festival. The room was very worn, the mattresses were torn, and the walls were very dirty and grubby. To top it all off, this room contained the internet router and a tangle of cables for the entire hotel, which emitted a constant humming noise. We don't think that's standard hotel practice. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and a bit annoyed, but they did find us another hotel.

Ein Hotel was in die Jahre gekommen ist, Anreise war schon etwas besonderes der Empfang war kühl es zeigte sich auch kein Hauch zum wohl fühlen. Die Zimmer aus den 70iger Jahren enttäuschend. Die Gastronomie war noch schlimmer das Abendessen war permanent kalt und auch keine Abwechslung nicht mal einen Salat als Beilage. Es gab auch nur ein Essen das heißt essen oder nicht essen und auch die Suppe jeden Abend war ungenießbar weil man nicht deuten konnte was es für eine war. Die Getränkekarte war größer als das Angebot warum eine Karte wenn keine Getränke zu Auswahl standen. Für mich war es nur einmal das ich dieses Hotel besuchte.

Preis hat nix mit Sauberkeit zu tun. Hotel Übernachtung und Frühstück über Gutschein günstig gebucht. Trotzdem erwartet man Sauberkeit und das bei einem späterem Frühstück noch etwas auf dem schlichten Buffett steht. Ich bedaure die Gäste, die den vollen Preis bezahlen.

Alle Mängel dieses Hotels aufzuzählen, würde den Rahmen hier sprengen. Einzig die relativ gute Lage und leicht zu erreichende Innenstadt mit den Öffentlichen würden hier für das Hotel sprechen. Komfort, Ausstattung, Hygiene Modernität der Einrichtung usw sprechen eindeutig GEGEN dieses Hotel. Also, wer es billig haben will, im wahrsten Wortsinne und auf das Wohlfühlen drumherum und angenehme Atmosphäre keinen Wert legt, ist hier genau richtig.

Das Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen. Absolut abgewohnt und runtergekommen, alles dreckig und verstaubt. Wir mussten eine Hygiene Pauschale bezahlen was absolut unverschämt war es ist nichts gereinigt gewesen. Bei Buchung wurde auch nicht auf diese Hygiene Pauschale hingewiesen. Auf den Kissen und Matratzen waren Flecken durch die Bettwäsche zu sehen. Schimmel im Bad an den Ecken. Flecken auf dem Teppichboden. Massive Ablagerungen auf den Lichtschaltern und in den Steckdosen. Parkplatz war immer stark überfüllt und wir müssen uns an der Straße einen Platz suchen.
