The Edelweiss has been around for a long time, and whilst you will not find modern accommodation full of all mod-cons, you will find everything you need for a lovely stay, including an extremely comfortable bed, a wonderful breakfast, and a team led by Shirley who clearly values the old fashioned ideals of providing wonderful hospitality at a very reasonable cost. Spent 4 nights here for the Southern 100 road racing event. The hotel is situated just off the main promenade in an ideal location. The room was well equipped with everything required for a pleasant stay. Comfortable bed with plenty pillows, tv, hairdryer, kettle with tea and coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room cleaned to a high standard. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent value for money. Rooms on the small-sized but I had booked a single. Breakfast was superb and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definetly recommend this hotel. Walking distance to Douglas shopping centre

Fantastic place to stay. From start to finish the service we received was amazing. The rooms spot on, the beds great, the breakfast worth the money, the sausages where divine. We stayed here for a week whilst over visiting family, definitely Fantastic value for money. Shirley and her team are spot on. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit. Xx
