We stayed for 3 nights in October, and the hotel is hard to fault. It’s very functional without being overly luxurious! The rooms are great - roomy, with a big comfy bed, and the bathroom has a bath and separate shower. We didn’t use the pool or spa facilities, so cannot comment on them. We ate in the hotel restaurant on Sunday, and chose the carvery, which was very good. All in all, a very enjoyable stay!

Nice hotel situated less than 10 minutes by car from Douglas Ferry terminal, just follow the signs A5 _ The South. The hotel is in a really nice setting with some lovely views. The rooms are of a good standard and easily accessible either via lift or stairs, they are well equipped with TV and tea /coffee making in room. Bathroom is ok with toiletries but no two pin shaver / charging point supplied. I have marked it down on food as breakfast was a buffet and obviously food not refreshed very often as such we found the later you went for breakfast the fried items were not good and fresh fruit gone. We only ate in the restaurant on one evening the Sunday when they advertised carvery. The eat was good but vegetables either very overcooked or undercooked. Good size car park no charging point for EV’s.

We stayed four nights and ate twice in the restaurant twice in the evening. First impression is very good the carpark is huge, well laid out and clean. Same with all the public area's all are clean and well maintained. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms are spread out and some involved going up and down stairs to get to. We were at the front of the hotel and the rooms were a bit warm but not to bad. The room has everything you need and again very clean and maintained. Breakfast is very good all the food is great quality, well cooked and plenty full. We ate once in the restaurant and the food and service were very good, the chef is in the restaurant so you can see the food being prepared everything was very nice. We also had the carvery on the Sunday This was ok but not up to the standard of the other food, under cooked cauliflower and overcooked beef and Yorkshire pudding. All still very edible but compared to the standard of all the other food a bit disappointed. We also used the pool which is very good. Check out very easy. Overall a very good stay. The location is great for exploring the island.

The hotel looked very unimpressive from the outside, like a budget hotel and inside…the decor is very Essex!! Pretty ghastly. Who the hell designed this place??? Cooked breakfast was cooked the night before and not even warmed up - it was cold, overcooked and pretty disgusting. I ordered a club sandwich for lunch which was ok, came with about 5 tortilla chips which were stale and the side salads was rotten. Bedroom was nice and spacious, bathroom has no window (which is fine) but NO extraction fan - A BIG FAIL. Very hot during the night in the room and hearing wasn’t even on. To use the Spa, ie. Steam room it is £25 pp…. Not sure why this isn’t included in the expensive room rate they charge. Would definitely not stay here again. Mediocre.

After a house fire at our property, we moved into the Comis Hotel for 6 months. The hotel and its staff have been fantastic making our stay very pleasant, under difficult circumstances. All the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. As an elderly couple with mobility issues, we found the hotel easy to access and move around. We couldn't thank all the staff enough for their help.

Stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is clean and tidy, good facilities and the restaurant food was very nice. A big bonus for me was the oversized parking spaces. We will definately stay again when we next visit the island.

I booked a spa day for myself whilst on holiday here & after a traumatic health experience. What I needed, was what I got at this spa. 2 hours of pure relaxation where the staff leave you to it & thus making you feel very at ease. There's an indoor pool, a relaxation room with complimentary Nespresso coffee & juices, plus reading material. The spa itself has an outdoor jacuzzi which is a lovely experience. An indoor jacuzzi, 2 saunas & 2 steam rooms. You can order drinks whilst in there too. The staff are very pleasant. The second time I went, I took my mother who needed a desperate dose of pampering. We indulged in a 25 minute massage & a scrub massage which was divine. We then went into the adjoining restaurant for a delightful cream tea with bubbles & endless sandwiches & cakes! Again, the staff were very cordial & correct as it were. Highly recommended & we will be back.

We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was excellent, very clean, and the room was lovely. Good gym, fantastic pool and spa. The breakfast choice was very good, well presented, and well cooked. Will stay there again. The staff were most polite and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Beautiful hotel with tasteful decor. Immaculately clean in all areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast with a lot of choice using local produce. Dinner was also great, hot, tasty and lots of it. Downsides were very expensive drinks, no air conditioning in the bedrooms which were swelteringly hot and so I didn’t have a good sleep. No fridge in the bedroom which would have helped with the heat. My recommendation is to ask for a room on the lowest floor as they were much cooler. I suppose if you’re visiting in the winter it would be fine but in a heatwave it was very uncomfortable even with the bedroom windows open.
