This hotel lives up to it's reputation, it is well managed, clean and very comfortable. Friendly staff and magnificent full English breakfast included, what more could you want!

This hotel is in the perfect position for all of Douglas and the Isle of Man. The service was faultless and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated the complimentary mini bar. The room was luxurious and when I needed a reading light one was supplied the next day. Recommended.

We had a truly wonderful experience on our two night stay. From meet and greet to departure. Staff warm and welcoming. Rooms impeccably clean. Breakfast and dinner an enjoyable culinary experience. When and if we return to the IOM we would hopefully get room availability in the Halvard Hotel absolutely love it ❤️ R.R.305

I left my phone in my room and only realised it when I got to the airport. A quick phone call to request that they put the phone in a taxi and they drove it out to me themselves. Brilliant support. The hotel is in great shape and another nice touch is a fridge full of complimentary food and drink. Highly recommend and thank you.

My brother and I stayed here for the TT races and we couldn’t have found a better venue. We were given Room 202 which is an amazing family room with 2 large double beds and so much space. It has a bay window overlooking the seafront which is spectacular. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and the complimentary mini bar re-stocked. Yes, everything inside the fridge is complimentary 👏. There is a good choice for fresh cooked breakfast along with the usual buffet continental options. If I was being super critical, I would have liked a Cumberland sausage to make the breakfast perfect 😜. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient and always have time to help you. Thank you for a great stay during your busiest time.

Comfortable, clean hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Very nice breakfast. Great location. The pillows on the bed didn’t suit me but as soon as I asked for a thinner pillow it was supplied. We arrived by ferry after midnight. We dropped off our luggage at the hotel then headed off to the multi-storey car park behind the hotel. We found it difficult to master the pay machines (and ‘Ringo’ wasn’t available.) Perhaps hotel reception could hand out simple instructions?

Very nice light spacious room and bathroom. Remote not working well, AC didn’t work but not needed. Shower pressure not amazing. Nice touch having complimentary soft drinks and snacks in minibar. Breakfast good selection and cooked offerings. Just missing some artisan bread and nice jams and honey. Service friendly and polite if a bit hurried feeling. Handy location on promenade, nice view, and close to the multi story car park
