It is a relatively satisfactory hotel, with a large balcony and a great view, but there are no latex pillows. The suite includes breakfast, afternoon tea and light meals in the evening. The meals are not amazing, but they are not bad. The water in the swimming pool is not too cold, suitable for children to play. The service is still different from those five-star hotels in the south, but overall I am satisfied.

On our road trip to Qingdao, we passed through Dongying and decided to stay overnight. We had originally booked a twin room, but upon arrival, seeing we had a child with us, they upgraded us to a king room. (A staff member had even called the day before to confirm our needs.) We visited the Yellow River Estuary scenic area. However, you need to take a boat to see the actual confluence of the river and sea, and we were worried our child wouldn't sit still, so we ultimately decided not to take the boat trip.
