Room: We had a suite for 5 people. It had three beds. At the entrance, there was a single bed, separated by a curtain, and two double beds. The beds were very comfortable and had mosquito nets. The bathroom was huge, with two sinks, two shower heads over a shared tub, and a separate toilet. The terrace was spacious and had loungers and chairs, and a wonderful view of the sea. Food: The staff made a huge effort to fulfill every wish. The food was good. Sometimes it takes a little while to be delivered, but it's always freshly prepared. Staff: Very attentive and extremely friendly. Entertainment: We were there during the rainy season and were the only guests besides two other guests. The hotel was therefore extremely quiet. I missed a ping-pong or pool table. A small weight room would have been nice too. Diving: Be careful! There is no diving school affiliated with the hotel. We dived with Bluewaves, who picked us up from the hotel. The dive sites were okay, but not amazing. Negative: While it's great that you get a 5-liter water bottle per person in your room every day, plus the same with dinner, the empty PET bottles pile up. It's better to provide 1-liter bottles.

Dès l’arrivée le cadre est enchanteur, les flamboyants flamboient, les fleurs des tiarés embaument. Le jardin est très bien entretenu. La vue est splendide, les couleurs nous ont fait oublier le voyage depuis Paris tout gris de décembre… Et surtout tout est calme et tranquille, reposant, à taille humaine, c’est le contraire d’une usine. Le management (Haman et Julia) est tres professionnel, disponible, présent et bienveillant. Ils ont organisés nos excursions (taxi/lieux/ capitaines) aux prix du guide du routard… L’équipe est souriante, sympathique et proactive, efficace également, quelquefois en mode « polé polé ». Les délais de services alimentaires sont limite. Au vu des avis antérieurs, la nouvelle direction a corrigée les erreurs passées… Notre « bungalow » avec terrasse était propre, spacieux, intime, parquet, bien équipé et entretenu. La climatisation efficace et intelligemment positionnée, je n’ai pas eu de sinusite… et jamais trop chaud ou trop froid. Le décor est exotique, local et massif, c’est simple et de bon goût. Le restaurant est très agréable avec des distances d’intimités préservées et avec une belle vue canopée / mer. Nous sommes français et exigeants, pourtant la carte variée, locale et généreuse nous a emballée même si la diversité des plats doit être améliorée. Le service est local, souriant et bienveillant. Seul bémol pour le vin. Vous recherchez la tranquillité et le confort simple mais amplement suffisant vous êtes au bon endroit. Mon fils de 19 ans a pu réviser son droit presque tous les matins, wifi partout même sur la plage. Et l’aîné de 21 nageait et glandait tout comme moi… La piscine à débordement fait son effet, le top serait de la refroidir ! La plage… de la farine blanche et de l’eau chaude, c’est propre et parfait. Les parasols bien espacés et confortables, le bar accueillant et très sympathique, les déjeuners y sont très agréables car la brise y est constante, gros point positif. La marée basse n’est pas un problème, nous utilisions le pontons de l’usine à touriste d’à coté. Regardez la photo satellite. Il y a une passe et un chenal qui permet de nager dans une eau fraîche ( 25/26!), après la typique plage idyllique et peu profonde de Zanzibar. Mais alors la cerise sur le gâteau c’est le spot de snorking « blue lagoon » qui débute devant la plage de l’hôtel !!! C’est un spot très facile, il y a les petits bateaux de tourisme et deux grosses bouées qui le signale. Vous y accédez en 10/15 mn de marche sur la plage vers le nord au spot majeur où 20mn de palme depuis la plage de l’hôtel. Attention au courant si vous n’avez pas de palmes. Si vous entrez à l’eau après 5/10 mn de marche il est facile d’accéder et de revenir à l’hôtel en vous laissant tranquillement dériver par le courant. C’est l’aller qui peut être coriace. J’avais mes palmes d’apnée, c’était parfait et on ne regrette pas de les avoir trimbalées avec soit en cabine! La localisation côte est, au milieu de l’île était bien pour dé

Wir waren Ende November fast die einzigen Gäste und wurden rundum verwöhnt. Nach der ersten Nacht bekamen wir ein Upgrade in eine 190qm Suite. Und haben prompt verlängert. Hier könnte eine Großfamilie einziehen - drei große Betten und ein Daybett auf der riesigen Terrasse mit Blick übers Meer. Obwohl kaum Gäste da waren, war alles perfekt: am Pool und am Strand waren die Schirme/Liegen/ Handtücher vorbereitet, wann immer wir kamen wurden wir von einem fröhlicherBarmann am Beach verwöhnt. Feinste Küche - und das direkt am Strand. Und wenn das Meer zurück geht: über die nahegelegenen Seebrücke kommt man jederzeit in die Lagune. Auch da gibt’s Liegen und einen coolen Drink.

Es war einer der besten Urlaube von uns- wir kommen gerne wieder!!! Ruhe, Entspannung, der beste Strand. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend- selten so erlebt. Großzügige Suiten. Nachteil kein TV- welchen wir aber überhaupt nicht vermisst haben. Das Management hat das Haus sehr gut im Griff. Der Gast steht stets im Mittelpunkt und wird buchstäblich verwöhnt. Einfach nur toll wenn man Ruhe, Luxus und kein Trubel wie in typischen Resorts sucht.

A small hotel divided into 15 independent houses facing the ocean. Large white sand beach, coral and diving spots a few hundred meters away. My Eucalyptus villa: at least 150m2, simple, parquet floor, nicely furnished, good bedding, mosquito net installed every evening. Large dressing room, large bathroom with double shower and separate toilet. The air conditioning is a little noisy but with earplugs you can't hear a thing. Large private terrace and direct access to the beach. Drinking water is replenished daily, there is a fridge. For those who want to party or come with their children: this hotel is not for them (so much the better). Here we come looking for peace and quiet, and for the noise, that of the waves and the wind. There is a family of small monkeys in the park, magnificent birds, flamboyant trees in bloom. Decent restaurant, not very varied but with good products, especially the fresh fruits (pineapple, mango, papaya, passion fruit: a treat!) and the fish. Excellent service, kind and gentle. There are obviously French people who place their orders and "give their orders" in French, as if they were still in the Colonies, while we speak English in East Africa. But that doesn't make them speak English. We feel ashamed for them. More negative points: - no real coffee at breakfast, but instant coffee... For an espresso you have to pay. - The hotel does not accept credit cards: I had to be driven to the small neighboring town to withdraw bundles of Tanzanian shillings, it took an hour because each withdrawal maximum was limited. - the swimming pool is impractical because there is no motor to filter the water. Advice: you must wear plastic shoes to go in the sea: there are a lot of sea urchins. And this part of the lagoon is quite open on the ocean side so the tides are significant
