Dongtai Hotels with Wi-Fi

My 2nd time in Dongtai, 1st time in Leida hotel. It looked good on the website. 1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected. The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds! I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights. The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer. Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.

The check-in experience was very good, and the front desk Xiao Sun service was warm and thoughtful. Originally set for one night, and stayed for another night! The breakfast has a special Dongtai fish noodle soup, which is rich in variety and the milk is delicious. There are not many duplicate dishes for breakfast for two days. The hotel details are full, the soap is the leaves of the forest 🍃, like it! Dinner at the restaurant on the day of check-in, good quality and cheap!

The price is very high and the service attitude is very good. Free parking, very close to the city, the room is equipped with a bathtub 🛁, there are many fish soup noodle shops around. Very suitable for family and business travel

Booked business standard room, the room is quite good, the room is 40 or 50 square meters. Two people with a 5-year-old child live more spacious, sleep well, live very comfortable!

The dishes were quite satisfactory. The upgraded suite is very spacious. The room is well maintained. There are two bathrooms and a large bathtub. The baby took a bath. The fish noodle soup for breakfast was delicious. There were not many guests staying in the hotel. The service staff was good. The overall feeling was very good. Highly recommended!

I rarely comment on hotels. Miss sister upgraded my room, the room soundproofing is also good, I didn't expect the environment to be so good, and the TV is also equipped with VIP, the price is super high, the bed has no smell, this time the Dongtai hotel experience is very good, next time if you come to Dongtai will set this one. And it is also very convenient to travel next to supermarkets and convenience stores.
