Reception restaurant and sitting area was lovely. The bedroom we were given room 109 needed upgrading on the furniture. Early hours of the morning their was loud noises and it wasn't footsteps like the receptionist suggested I know the difference!!

We had a wedding at the Earl for 80 guests. All of whom travelled from the South of England, Texas, Australia, Spain and France. Everyone thought the venue, accommodation, food and staff made it a fantastic event.

Really friendly, caring and attentive staff made my stay with friends in this beautiful hotel the best it could possibly be. Spacious rooms and fantastic food whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. I can't fault it!!

For our first two nights the Air Con was not working so sleeping was a bit disturbed but overall a good hotel in a decent location . Loved the decor

From start to finish everything was so organised, I didn’t have to stress about anything. It was all taken care of. The food was lovely and everywhere was impeccably clean .

Eight of us used this hotel as a base for the races, (we normally stay in the town centre) lovely hotel & staff especially Boris and the lady whose been at the hotel a long time who served us a breakfast was good and we had a good banter with her, Rooms we lovely and clean & air con. (Could have done with a fridge) Just to let you know that the charge for breakfast is £17.95 plenty of choice, fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, cooked breakfast to order or if they are busy it is a buffet. Fab pub 10 mins walk away called the Salutation.

No windows that open for fresh air room very stuffy and the air con very loud Woke up in the middle of the night with a loud buzzing noise ??? they had to move me two floors below

Everything excellent. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Amazing choice for breakfast and food beautifully presented. Very good restaurant. Room spotless and comfortable. Free parking and hotel in a very convenient location with a lovely park next door. What more can you want!
