Premier Inn Doncaster Central

We stayed here for one night, it is centrally located, the staff on the front desk were really helpful as always as we have stayed here on a couple of occasions there is parking only a minute away, the hotel is clean, didn't book the breakfast but we have had it before it's nice, would definitely book here again in the future.

Hotel needs a refurb and staff need retraining.Fire alarm went off 3am staff didnt have a clue.Fire exit was difficult to find people panicking trying to get into lifts which stop due to the alarms.No explanation from staff.I stayed for a weekend and i do premier inns probably every other week this was easily the worst i have ever been too Staff just full of attitude and rude.Corridors and room had a really strong musty smell .The fire alarm experience was a real eye opener though thank god it was a false alarm nobody actually told us it was we were left to wander back up the fire exit after an hour outside in a downpour nobody telling us anything.Very poor experience.

The hotel is 10 minutes from the train station (walking) and same to the theatre also 2 minutes from the main shopping area. Really clean, absolutely lovely and helpful staff. Cheryl the manager even drew us a map to the theatre. Will definitely be going back

Very Comfortable Bed. Lovely pillows. We had a great nights sleep. Gorgeous hot shower! But the wow factor was the incredible view we had. So so beautiful. We have zero complaints. It was a perfect stay, we highly recommend to all our friends and family.

It was exactly like all the premier inn so have been to before, that’s why I always pick them, you know what you are getting. Very centrally located, close to the centre of town, restaurants and the station. Parking an issue, but plenty of local garages you can use. Food typical, nothing special but nothing bad.

Hotel staff were lovely. Helpful, friendly and welcoming. Our room was on the 5th floor, a family room. I'd say your standard layout premier inn family room.. decent size. Clean. Smoky smell in bathroom I think previous guests must have smoked in there. Didn't like that we couldn't open windows as it was quite warm with 4 of us in there but we did open the vents. Had a lovely view of the church and could hear the bells through the day (and night). The only downside for us which we've never had before, is that the 4th bed was a fold up bed. It was smaller than the other bed with very hard edges which meant my daughter didn't sleep great on it. We also removed the towels from under the sheets as the kids complained they were lumpy and again, I don't think I've ever come across that before in a Premier Inn. That aside, great hotel, great location, blue light discount in the pub. The most lovely blonde Scottish lady was on breakfast service both mornings. We never caught her name but she was really lovely and pleasant and deserves a shout out. My 1 last thing to mention is that I didn't see any signs for the stairs on floor 5 and was confused as to how you'd get out in a fire so for me, I think a bit more signage is needed there.

Great Central location. Close to the market,station and town centre. Lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. Easy check-in. Spacious clean rooms. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. 10 minutes taxi ride to the Dome. Would definitely stay here again.
