Bon accueil. Chambre rénovée il y a quelques années. C'est le premier Campanile que je vois refait. Plutôt réussi, avec une télé plus grande, une douche à la place de baignoire. Pour moi literie trop ferme. Sinon, l'isolation thermique est faible car il faut faire carburer le radiateur électrique à fond. Côté resto, on est pas dans le standard Campanile. J'ai pris une saucisse lentilles. Saucisse fraîche et bonne mais lentilles en boîte nature sans re travail du produit, jamais vu ça ! En même temps ça n'était pas mauvais. Le vrai plus, le petit déjeuner très bien et varié.

I am surprised by the other glowing reviews of this place. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Dole and in a district with some stores. Within the vicinity the area looks a bit desolate. Parking was in a bad shape (fence broken, parking pavement wear & space unusable). On the main floor there is a nice dining area. The host was very friendly and has a bit of a humoristic side. We had a room located on the main floor. It was ok - nicely decorated, limited furnishing and the washroom appears to have been newly renovated/furnished. But, the room is quite small considering the price I paid (130 EUR) ; just big enough to fit the twin beds and have a little space left. I was left feeling I got robbed. I have been to Best Western hotels in the past and I guess I was expecting better quality.

It is ideally located in central Dole with free parking nearby and an easy 9 minute walk to Dole Railway Station for excellent rail connections to include the beautiful Hirondelle Line to St Claude. My room on the 2nd floor overlooking the interior courtyard was quiet and just fine in every way. There is a choice of breakfast menus so avoiding those huge expensive buffet spreads for those wanting just a coffee and croissant. Staff were efficient, professional and welcoming. No hesitating in recommending this hotel.
