Je fietst met 5 vrienden langs de IJssel naar Terwolde vanuit Arnhem. De sociëteit is het wel aan de IJssel met zicht op oude stad. Je bestelt een appeltaart, dat wordt appelgebakje , klein maar fijn. Twee koude chocolademelk, half volle glazen , wat koffie2x en bitterlemon. De glazen water , die we vroegen , hebben we niet gekregen. Rekening 59€. We begrijpen dat de CAO’s een hoger prijskaartje vragen, maar dit is gênant. Als u erlangs gaat op terras eerst één prijsopgave vragen . Dit was over de top.

Erg gastvrij en gezellig hotel met vriendelijke bediening. Mooi uitzicht op Deventer. Heerlijk ontbijt (a la carte) Alles vers bereid. Super mooie kamer met ruime badkamer en goede straal onder de douche. Ietwat harde matras maar dat is persoonlijk Verder weinig op aan te merken.

We zijn 2 dagen lang helemaal in de watten gelegd. We zouden ons bijna bezwaard voelen om geen gebruik te maken van alle service mogelijkheden. Het personeel wilde overal mee helpen. Bijvoorbeeld bij binnenkomst koffie. Kaartjes voor de pont om gratis heen en terug te kunnen met de pont naar Deventer.

The hotel has a classy atmosphere. The food was delicious at the in-house restaurant. The sauna was wonderful, the bed and pillows were perfect. We would highly recommend it.
