Beachside Inn

So once you make your reservations, you will not receive a refund if you need to cancel. I thought this was very poor customer service because initially I was told they do offer refunds prior to a certain date, but this is not the case. I was also given 2 different prices for the same dates. When I questioned the initial price because it seemed rather high (charging me $700 for taxes?), the service rep said she would have to call me back. Be careful with their extra charges!!

Went with family for fall break, we stayed at this Inn. This was in a great location with the beach just steps away. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return with family or by myself and friends.

What a lovely place! The easiest check-in experience I've ever had. Very nice room. Very clean and welcoming AND pet friendly! Not only were we greeted with a nice loaf of banana bread, there was a little puppy snack as well. So thoughtful. Beautiful location and right across the street from the ocean. So many creature comforts have been thought of. Mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee/tea maker and even a steamer for clothes. This is simply a wonderful place to sit back and relax. I highly recommend.

Friendly check-in. A bottle of wine and banana bread awited us on the table. The room was clean and close to beach. Our room was 201. Since this was our first visit, we found out the hard way. It was our anniversary and returning to the Inn after dinner, there were no parking spots left. We waited and convinced the lot attendant to give us the next open spot. The real fun started after we entered our room. The restaurant was right next door and we could hear thumping against the walls and loud talking until 10:30. The next night we tried to get back eariler, and still no parking spots. The last 2 nights we adjusted our schedule to be back before 5. Not worth the fight. Don't think we would return if we had to have this room. I guess someone has to get it. Had fun at the beach and met lots of nice people.

Well run with friendly helpful staff, simple but clean, and perfectly adequate rooms. Excellent easy beach access to beach park with showers and bathrooms directly across a lightly traveled 2-lane road. Excellent food and service in the restaurant. The beach is beautiful, and clean, with sugar-white sand.

After the last two years of having to cancel we finally made it! It was worth the wait! From ease of checking in to checking out (all done thru email, text and electronic lock on door) to the beach access (across the street and over board walk) we will be returning. Camille's restaurant and café is wonderful! You can get coffee and smoothies in the morning, lunch and dinner after 5pm. All delicious! The restaurant and café is attached to the hotel. We parked our car for a 3 night stay. Hit the beach and ate at Camille's. Perfect. Room was clean and open. Hotel left bottle of champagne and banana bread in room when we arrived. Also, the room has key pad entry (hotel sends code) which means no key cards to potentially loose at the beach. Away from the beach there are nice neighborhoods to walk and check out. This is our Destin go to place!
