This is near where we were staying in Guadeloupe, so I went to look at it as an alternative for a future visit. Sadly, it’s nothing like the pictures on the website. There is a general air of neglect, with a damaged footbridge on the approach from the beach and a broken fountain clogged with weeds, overflowing. The cabins appeared tatty; just badly maintained on the outside, with loose and drooping shutters. A children’s play area had swings with worn and faded seats. The equally dilapidated common area was dirty and the bar / restaurant was in a very sorry state. The car park had a couple of vehicles in it. Access from the main road seems awkward. Look elsewhere.

A very beautiful, atypical, quiet experience in Deshaies. The welcome and breakfasts are excellent! The location is great, at the end of the beach. A relaxing and pleasant stay. Please note, no air conditioning in the rooms, but they are well ventilated.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful venue for my sister's wedding, which was held there. Despite the fact that the bungalows are withering a bit, the experience was incredible: I understand that wood is difficult to maintain in Guadeloupe with the humidity. However, this in no way tainted our experience. On the contrary, we found this place really atypical and original, with a very nice and attentive manager. And what about breakfast! It was simply extraordinary. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and memorable place to stay in Guadeloupe.

We came to this heavenly place to celebrate our wedding. Incredible decor, the cottages are sublime….a change of scenery guaranteed!! Breakfast was great, with an indescribable view! Boris is super welcoming, very caring! We didn't have the opportunity to thank you because you were absent, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for this moment, and congratulations for maintaining this beautiful and atypical place!

Wild place and rich in greenery, ideal location next to the beach. Wooden cottage with lots of charm. Swimming pool with beach view. Hearty and quality breakfast. However, given the price of the cottages, I find it a shame that the quality is not there. Indeed the cottages made of wood are beautiful but are dilapidated +++, not very bright at night, and not air-conditioned. Dark bathroom, small and dilapidated by humidity and water from the shower flowing along the wooden construction. Shower door not present, well half. So not great if you don't want to get the floor wet. Worn lingerie. At times we have the impression that the cottages are in the middle of the jungle as they seem so damaged whereas they could be so pretty if they were maintained. Friendly welcome.
