Premier Inn Derby East

Manager Darren & his team are amazing, it felt like visiting old friends. Nothing is too much trouble. Darren is funny, caring and so hardworking, he leads by example and doesn’t stop. The dream team of Simon and Louise made breakfast so special as did Chloe and Laura with the evening meals. The chef cooks a delicious steak and it was the best scrambled eggs we have ever had. The cleaners did a brilliant job. It was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in and the bed so comfy. Everyone there deserves a huge pat on the back for a 5 star job well done. We have been 4 times this year, 14 over the past 3 years and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We see the same guests going back as we do which is an indication of the incredible job Darren and his team do. We can’t wait to go back and stay in our favourite ‘rooms 8 & 10’.

From the moment we arrived Chole and Darren were completely fun and friendly. What a welcoming, they informed of the best places to visit that night and have since been such good company when we see them. Riley served us tonight and what a lovely young man, he again has been friendly chatty and all round a nice personality. What a brilliant friendly team for a Premier inn xx

Great service as ever. Darren, Simon and the rest of the team are always so helpful, friendly and surprisingly chipper despite being rushed off their feet dealing with everything. Rooms could do with a refresh but come back regularly for the great beds and great staff!

Great Premier Inn. Simon, Darren and the team are great, breakfasts are fab, beds are comfy. They are great at managing food intolerances too. Highly recommended.

A lovely Premier Inn. We have stayed here before and have always found it lovely, especially the way they cater for neuro diversity/SEND. Chloe went out of her way to help, even calling the day before we arrived. Louise’s smile as you go into breakfast is wonderful and she keeps everything perfect, even though it was crazy busy, around 70 for breakfast one morning (which is understandable-with the quality and the lovely staff it’s no wonder it is so popular)

Cleanliness and comfort overall good, however let down by being woefully under staffed. The restaurant service was extremely slow but the staff did their best under the circumstances. Cloe in particular went above and beyond our expectations. You are a star.
