Excellent service great guy who served us name Andy,food was hot, nice and clean, prices were good, plenty of space, good choice of food, outside garden, would definitely recommend , good location, plenty of car parking, great disabled parking

Great hotel,fantastic food,brilliant bar,pub staff ,our server crystal is lovely and intentive, 2 year of stopping will be back again for a 3rd visit.Hotel chambermaid really helpful and friendly ,room clean and tidy .Great area of derby for the hotel to be situated .

Food in the restaurant shocking. Chicken & mushroom pie obviously heated up too much in the microwave. The pastry was very tough & no creamy sauce inside. Had no check back & wasn't even asked if our meal was ok when plates were collected. Will no be returning.

Lovely pub with a great beer garden. The carvery was so good! Everything was hot and so tasty! Great selection of lagers. Staff were very helpful with helping me to choose a wine which was great! Great for families and perfect for a special occasion. Thank you all

Came for a family meal, greeted with a smile by Shantell and seated straight away. We all knew what we wanted and it came out fairly quick, the carvery was delicious and very hot. Took away 2 explosion cakes as we never had any last time!! Lovely time had by all.

Lovely lunch time catch up with my friend, The Blue Jay is our go to place! As always the food was lovely and so were the staff. Next time we come im definitely having the chocolate explosion cake!! Such a calm and relaxing atmosphere and no one bothers you, which is great when you're sat talking for 2 hours. See you again soon Blue Jay
