Renovated in 2024, the Shenfeng Juyuan View Hotel is a great choice for accommodation in Deqin. This hotel is located near many of Deqin's attractions including Meili Snow Mountain National Park - Sunrise on the Golden Mountain, Feilai Temple Scenic Area - Viewing Platform No. 1 and Feilai Temple Scenic Area - Incense Burning Platform. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with groups of friends, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

We requested an extra blanket but were refused, with the explanation that they had already supplied what was necessary. This was despite the hotel not being fully booked and having plenty of availability. They also incorrectly claimed it was against policy for three of us to stay in one room, even though we had actually booked two rooms (one with twin beds, one with a king). The room lighting was so poor that I had to use my phone's flashlight just to operate the kettle. Around 7 AM, I tried calling the front desk multiple times to inquire about the weather and whether we'd be able to see the 'Rizhao Jinshan' (Golden Mountain at sunrise), but no one picked up. What truly baffled me was the bizarre business philosophy proudly displayed at the front desk. The very next day, I received truly exceptional service at a different establishment. This was by far the most disappointing hotel experience during my entire 6-day stay in Shangri-La.

I stayed for one night on July 1st, and right away, I knew I had to recommend this hidden gem to everyone. The fact that I'm still thinking about it and writing this review after all this time really speaks volumes about how wonderful and value-for-money this hotel is to me. First, the room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. Second, the owner was incredibly kind. My friend and I visited when it wasn't busy, and upon realizing we were students, she not only generously upgraded our room but also gave us a discount on the price. A huge thank you to her for her wonderful hospitality!

I originally booked the hotel for the beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains, but I unexpectedly unlocked a lot of surprises! As soon as I opened the door, I was shocked by the terrace facing the snow-capped mountains. The pure white snow tops glowed silver in the sun, and the healing power was full! What's even more surprising is the hotel's rich activity experience: ******* rubbings, handmade ******* incense, tea brewing around the stove and other activities. They even provide ******* clothes, and you can ask the housekeeper in the store to help take pictures. It's really too photogenic~ The room is equipped with floor heating, humidifiers, and smart toilets. There are also rich mini bar snacks and drinks. I have to say that the room also provides free facial masks. The staff is warm and thoughtful. I also received souvenirs when I left the hotel. This is not only an accommodation, but also an immersive snow-covered cultural journey. Highly recommended!

A new hotel in Wunongding, opened in 2025. I've stayed at other hotels in Dalezhiye before (in Qiandao Lake and Zhongwei), but I was a bit disappointed with the Dalezhiye in Wunongding. The hotel is in a good location, about a two-minute walk from the Wunongding Observation Deck. The interior design is nice, and the rooms are clean, but there are a few shortcomings. First, the elevator was broken on check-in day. My room was on the second floor, so I had to walk up. The observation deck and rest area are both on the fourth floor. Because of the altitude, the walk up and down was a bit breathless. They said it would be repaired that evening, but it wasn't. Second, there's a construction site and a large tree right in front of the hotel, which obstructs the view of the snow-capped mountains from the hotel, slightly imperfecting the view. Third, as a new hotel opened in 2025, the rooms inevitably have a slightly renovated feel. Fourth, the laundry service was a bit chaotic. I was given two bags of laundry, but only one was returned. I only found the second bag after reporting it. Furthermore, the laundry was stuffed directly into the bag, leaving my T-shirts and shirts very wrinkled. In fact, the overall stay was okay, all the necessary services were provided, and the service attitude was also good, but some details were not handled well, which detracted from the impression. I hope that it can be improved in the future.

First and foremost, I have to praise the cleanliness: the room was spotless, and the bedding was incredibly high-quality, even mysophobes said they felt incredibly reassured. ✨ The room amenities exceeded our expectations—we booked a family room, which came with smart curtains, a large ensuite bathroom, branded toiletries, complimentary afternoon tea and fruit, and their yak beef hotpot was truly delicious. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in every detail, and the price was completely worth it. What touched me most was the owner's generosity! The driver for our chartered car stood us up at the last minute. Early in the morning, while we were frantic at Shangri-La, we sent the owner a message for help. To our surprise, she responded immediately and arranged a replacement vehicle within five minutes. This kind of warmth, even more than family, is far more precious than any physical amenities. Highly recommended to all travelers who value both quality and service; this is a warm and welcoming place worth a special trip!
