Hotels near Feilai Monastery, Deqin

Strongly recommend this guesthouse. Car park: Super easy to park your car as they have a spacious car park space across the street. Cleanness: Room is very new and clean. They prepared disposable towel and bathtub cover as well. Super considerate. Service: very friendly and thoughtful staff. Common area is spacious and thoughtfully designed too. Last but not least, their heating and water pressure is super good which is very important at such cold and high altitude location.

It's a newly opened homestay, and the facilities are very good among homestays. The room is also very large, and it has diffused oxygen, screens, and other necessary facilities. The bedding and linens are worthy of praise, they are not inferior to those of star hotels. It is 500-700 meters away from the Feilai Temple Observation Deck. The roads here are very congested during the Spring Festival. I would like to make a small suggestion. Since most of the tourists who come here are to see the Meili Snow Mountain, they will basically go to watch the sunrise early the next morning after checking in. The hotel breakfast time is 8-9:30, which is basically not available. It would be better if the guests could be provided with a simple breakfast to take with them, such as bread, boiled eggs, corn, etc. It would not be expensive, but the experience would be better.

I love this hotel so much. Love their outdoor and room design. Rooms are very spacious. The staff are very friendly, welcome us when we are still in van, help us take our luggages. Although we reach quite late, they still welcome us by giving us one plate of fruits. Feel so welcome during our stay.

The B&B recommended on Xiaohongshu did not disappoint me. The B&B for less than 300 yuan far exceeded my expectations. It has complete facilities, floor heating, oxygen supply, humidification, and mattresses with high-end latex memory zero pressure. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The last time I came, I spent a lot of money to stay in the viewing paradise, but the service was poor and they were indifferent. They said that the view looked out to a construction site, and when I asked the hotel, they were also evasive. Moshang Huakai is only more than 100 meters away from the viewing platform, and it takes at most 5 minutes to walk. The service is as good as a five-star hotel, and it is very enthusiastic. They also ordered fruits, melon seeds, and candies. The viewing restaurant on the second floor is surrounded by snow-capped mountains on three sides. The dishes are delicious and cheap, and the portions are too large. Whatever I asked, they were enthusiastic and positive. It must be a five-star praise.

Beautiful hotel with views of the Meili snow mountain. Staff was friendly and provided us with drinks upon request. Room was very clean, spacious and modern with voice control functions and oxygen supply. It is located higher up in Feilaisi, so there is abit of climb to get to the hotel from the bus drop-off point.

The hotel rooms are very clean, fully equipped, and have floor heating. You can see the Meili Snow Mountain from the room. Parking is also very convenient. There are many restaurants around, and it is also convenient to shop in a small supermarket. The boss lady is very hospitable and answered all the questions we raised about sightseeing. The accommodation experience is very good.

I went to see the Meili Snow Mountain with my sisters and booked this B&B by chance. I have to say that the boss's service is very considerate and friendly. Because I didn't make any travel plans in advance, after I arrived at the Shangri-La high-speed railway station, I found that it would take more than 3 hours to drive from the high-speed railway station to Feilai Temple. I called the owner of the B&B, and he immediately recommended a reliable carpooling driver to me, and I arrived at the B&B smoothly. When we came back from dinner, the boss called us over and gave us two cups of hot milk. On the return trip the next day, he personally helped us carry our luggage. The location of the hotel is also good, you can see the snow-capped mountains on the 6th floor🏔 The room was tidy and clean, but the double room we booked did not have diffused oxygen supply. Friends should check and ask in advance when booking. The overall stay experience is pretty good, we hope to meet again at ”Shenfeng Juyuan”!

The hotel is very cost-effective. We upgraded the room with balcony for free, which has a better view and we don't have to go to the observation deck of the hotel. The room is very clean and well-equipped, with floor heating, electric blanket, humidifier, oxygen supply all day, and welcome fruit. The hotel also provides pick-up service from the bus station, which is very convenient.

We stayed at the Wake Up Mountain Hotel in June 2024 for a week. The Hotel is wonderful. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are excellent, and the view from the windows of the mountains is fantastic. The Hotel also has a viewing area (and a bar) on the roof, providing the best sunrise view of the entire region's mountains. The restaurant has a great menu and excellent food; it is the best restaurant in the area. Finally, the staff Wenwen and others are wonderful, friendly and helpful. They arranged car and driver tours for us to travel around the area and addressed our requests. Excellent stay. They are highly recommended. Ken and Jacqueline

This hotel offers a great location to view the Meili Snow Mountains during the morning golden peak and also sunset (if you're lucky with the weather conditions). It is right next to the bus stop, which means it is very convenient if you are planning to catch an early morning bus (in our case). Rooms can be a bit pricey, but we know that we are essentially paying for the view. The food at the hotel is also tasty, I didn't need to go and look anywhere else for dinner and breakfast. I appreciated the great help that was provided by a staff named Xiao Wei. We arrived at the hotel when it was raining and wasn't expecting to see any mountain range in sight, but then the sky suddenly cleared up during the evening just shortly before sunset whilst we were having dinner and Xiao Wei came over to tell us to go and have a look at the snow mountain, which made our hearts rushed with joy. We also appreciated when Xiao Wei told us again during night time that the mountain range was visible so we quickly opened the curtain to treat ourselves with another fantastic view. The viewing platform on the top floor is a great location to see the sunrise and golden peak. I personally think it's even better viewing at the Feilai Temple platform that most tourists go to. On a final note, Xiao Wei again was very kind to help us by going to the bus platform at 8.30 AM in the morning to help us purchase the bus tickets from the driver (we couldn't do so as wechat pay didn't work for us). We were very happy with our stay here and got very lucky with some of the best views during our entire Yunnan trip. Thank you very much to Xiao Wei and the staff at Once Upon A Time in Meili :)
