The hotel, rated as a four-star property, lives up to its reputation with a grand, opulent design that blends traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern comforts. The martial arts exhibitions, including a nightly Kung Fu show that outshone the one at Shaolin Temple, were a highlight, immersing guests in the local culture. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed with antique-style furniture, creating a museum-like atmosphere that felt both luxurious and authentic. The vegetarian restaurant offered tasty, culturally significant dishes, though the breakfast buffet lacked Western options and the coffee could use improvement. The location is ideal, just 9 km from Shaolin Temple and close to other attractions like Songyang Academy, making it perfect for exploring Dengfeng’s cultural landmarks. As for the receptionist, Miss 李, she was exceptional. Her warm, friendly demeanor and proactive assistance stood out, as she helped with everything from organizing transportation to answering queries with a smile. Reviews consistently praise the front desk staff, and Miss 李 embodied the hotel’s “customer first” philosophy, making our stay feel personalized and welcoming.
