Hotels in Fengjia Night Market, Taichung

Was assigned to stay at room 1010 at level 10. The corridor was smelly (rubbish smell), but within the room was ok. However, I slept at the side of the bed nearest to the entrance, and occasionally was smelly. Hotel breakfast is not great, prefer to eat out instead. Within walking distance, there’s coin laundry and laundry shop at relatively cheap price. There’s also a family mart and breakfast shop nearby too. Overall not too bad except for the smell.

Location was great, it is very close to fengjia night market and a massage place that is on the way to that area which is superb. However, the customer service was not great as room makeup had to be informed beforehand, with many rules to follow. For people who are used to flushing down their tissue paper, kindly understand that this area prohibits flushing of used toilet paper down the toilet, and you will have to clear it in the sanitary bin in your toilet Room also wasn't really soundproof, and light sleepers might be disturbed.

The first impression of the hotel was fantastic. The grand entrance with its high ceilings gave off a welcoming and elegant vibe. The lobby also looked stylish and thoughtfully designed, which set a nice tone for the stay. A special mention goes to the young concierge who helped us with our parking and luggage. He was polite, efficient, and made a great first impression. We arrived slightly ahead of check-in, which is strictly from 3pm. Thankfully, the hotel provides access to the Fong Room while you wait. The space offers free drinks, light snacks, games, and a seating area. It was a really nice bonus, not something every hotel offers, and genuinely enhanced the guest experience. We booked three rooms but only two were ready when we checked in. This was a lapse in service, particularly since there was no apology or gesture of goodwill. Honestly, it came across as unprofessional and slightly disappointing. Another observation was the inconsistency between rooms. Even though we reserved the same room type, each had a different setup. One room was missing the couch shown in the listing and didn’t have a tub, while another had a small coffee table instead. That said, the rooms were stylish and comfortable overall. The scented foaming hand soap really stood out, surprisingly memorable! Breakfast was decent, with a reasonable variety. Despite a couple of service missteps, we’d recommend this hotel to travelers looking to stay near Feng Chia Night Market.

The room is clean and quiet with automatic self check in / checkout machine. It is very near to Fengchia night market with 8 minutes walk, I also love that there is Smart TV which can connect to YouTube. However it is pretty far from bus station with 22 minutes walk to chaoma station. With two super single bed stack together, there should be 3 pillows or an extra bolster to make up the bed.

I was quite surprised that a hotel in Taichung left such a good impression. Probably one of the nicest places that's considered on a more budgetary side — Basic but memorable. Location wise was not too bad. At least till late there were shops and convenient stores that were walking distance. Nice heated toilet bowl seat, room was spacious and the room service cleaning every day makes the stay worthwhile. The tv can even play YouTube! Not confined to watching the channels the hotel has subscribed to. Would book here again if there's a chance to come back :)

The hotel's location is quite close to Fengjia Night Market, and it seems their restaurant and facilities are pretty good. I noticed a lot of people dining or attending conferences during check-in and breakfast. So, initially, the hotel's parking lot was full. I had to temporarily park at the hotel entrance to drop off my luggage in the lobby. Since the designated partner parking lot is open-air, I was worried that the food and souvenirs I bought a few days ago would spoil from sun exposure, so I ended up carrying all my bags inside first. I'll wait until tonight to see if a parking space opens up in the hotel's underground garage. A unique feature of this hotel is the foot spa room, which is convenient to use. There's disinfectant spray available, and they sell bath salts for 10 NTD a pack, which isn't expensive. Starting at 9:00 PM, guests can use a special coin for a late-night snack. One coin gets you one snack, with four options to choose from.

A quiet hotel with a busy environment, sound insulation is quite good, the sanitary environment is satisfactory, and the hotel that will be selected again in Taichung 👍🏻

Revisiting this hotel after two years, the room is keeping clean still. The staffs are very helpful. Quiet, good location and good price. Two remarkable sharings in this re-visting: 1. You can borrow USB charging plug from the reception if you only have the charging line. This is impressive. 2. Don't forget to subscribe the breakfast when booking. It is value for money.

The hotel is excellently located, right next to Fengjia Night Market. I booked on a Saturday, and for some reason, hotels in Taichung are incredibly expensive on Saturdays; this one was triple its usual rate. Overall, the stay was quite pleasant. The room was a bit small, but the cleanliness was acceptable, and the service was very good. Despite the Saturday price hike, the cost felt reasonable for such a prime location. I would consider staying here again.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Fengjia Night Market. The room itself was very clean and tidy, equipped with all the essentials. However, the air conditioning unit was quite old-fashioned and incredibly noisy. I hope the hotel management addresses this issue.
