Top 5-Star Hotels in Davos

This was my second stay at the Seehof and it surpassed my expectations once more. Another great stay and skiing holiday. I wouldn't normally single out individuals as all the staff were great but I would like to commend Carlos (the waiter) who consistently offered exceptional service, displaying professionalism, attentiveness, and a friendly demeanour that greatly enhanced my dining experience. Truly an asset to the Seehof Hotel. Please pass on my best wishes to Carlos.

The hotel is located in the middle of the mountain, next to a small lake, plus the hotel's unique shape, it is quiet and elegant. The environment is also true, there are small squirrels jumping up and down next to the mountains. Intercontinental in Davos is a rare hotel, so breakfast is basically the Chinese world (tour group). Catering has also taken care of the tastes of Chinese people. The hotel’s children’s paradise is the most child of all the hotels in this trip, and it’s a great time to have fun. The rooms are great, the spacious terraces, and the best of the stars. q When staying, the hotel presented a cable car ticket for hiking. Although there was light rain when the weather was dark the next day, it was still fun. The top of the mountain can be hike, you can ride, and there is undecided snow. When the winter arrives, the mountains are covered with snow and you will experience the joy of skiing.

First class hotel. Service is truly exceptional - valet parking, staff cannot do enough for you, without being overbearing. Shuttle bus to and from ski lifts exemplary and on time. Special mention to Dario and Marco who were truly exceptional. I have rarely seen such superb service. They LOVE their work. And it shows. They are an absolute credit to Rixos. Marcos stays in hotel all year round even when closed, to renovate and keep ready for the season. An absolute superstar!. And to Antonia in the bar who was awesome and so friendly. My daughter and I enjoyed her hospitality and Lucy in particular enjoyed the hot chocolate! Ski room superb. Heated boot holders. Cleaning facilities, spacious, easy access. Spa and pool, including outdoors hot tub and Finnish sauna. Lovely. Impeccably clean. Turn down service / Maid service excellent. Breakfast superb, if a little too much food! Violinist playing live during breakfast is a classy, soothing touch. Rooms (we had 2) classy and beautifully decorated. Shower a little temperamental, however. Bvlgari toiletries. We are lucky enough to have stayed in various 5* hotels for family ski holidays over past 8/9 years and have stayed in superb hotels in Zermatt, Saas Fee, Val D’Isere, Meribel, Madonna and Chamonix, among others. I can only recommend the Hard Rock Hotel Davos. The location is super central, you only need a few minutes from Davos Platz to get there. The staff is really very friendly and helpful (especially Carla from the reception) and also the staff from the restaurant and the bar. The rooms are a little narrow, the terrace is very spacious and on the south side, we got great sun. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and left nothing to be desired.

A very nice, modern hotel. The reception was very friendly and speedy. The room was very large and equipped with everything you want (plus a little more). The wet cell was large and best equipped. All was very clean. There were very good, pleasant beds. Breakfast buffet was excellent, there was really everything. WLAN is free, fast and functions properly. The Spa area is pleasantly large. There is a swimming pool, saunas, steam bath, experience shower and resting beds. There is also a small outdoor area (beds). We have used the steam bath and the saunas rain. There are bath coats and bath lathes available in the room. We can best recommend the hotel, we are very happy to come back. The only negative thing was that the parking place in the adjustment hall cost 15Fr. per night. But with all the posts it is painful.

Plus: Friendly and professional in every respect clean nice rooms, reasonably sized for HGI no real problems whatsoever during my stay bus stations to/from railway and cable cars very close Migros supermarket nearby reasonably priced hotel Minus: Construction site due to renovation of congress hotel opposite the street (not noisy) Group tour hotel, mostly German bus tourists (no problem with them) No loyalty recognition at all. (Hilton now tries to position the HGI hotels more upscale. That means that non-obligatory benefits at HGI damage the value of the whole loyalty system) Rooms have floors with carpets which are not completely clean. Wooden floors would be nice. A few hotels at this season are better priced (but booking through travel agencies is needed for them) The value of the guest card gets lower every year. Other places like St.Moritz have it already much better.

The hotel is located just off the Center near the railway and if you open the windows since there is no air conditioning, it’s a little noisy in the morning. But apart of that the beds are comfortable the staff are nice and welcoming, there’s free parking, breakfast is great and the shower is fantastic

Very comfortable, clean hotel in a great, quiet but accessible location. The staff is very nice and professional staff and the break was very good and came with smiley staff. Nice plus with the saunas, pool and overall spa area. Overall a great short stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Grischa - das Hotel last weekend. Our junior suite was spacious, yet cozy and comfortable. Hotel staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice is good and Leonto Sushi restaurant is a star itself. We're looking forward to our next stay at Grischa

Also this year we spent a very nice week at Congress Hotel. Especially the meal in the half-pension was very good. Always very beautifully presented and really excellent. Great praise to the kitchen. Service is used to be friendly and nice. The rooms were also perfect, we felt very well,
