The hotel (and conference centre) is very well run. Staff are very professional. Breakfast was at a „quite good for four star“ quality (standard for that hotel level, but by no means exceptional). The furnishings in the hallway were a bit worn and musty. The fitness centre was quite good. My room itself was quite spacious and the bathroom in perfect condition - all the fittings worked great and there was no mould, a sign it is looked after well. There was no airconditioning (which was a problem in the summer) and this would not have been an issue really, but with the window open at night fumes from some generator or something (not sure what, but it smelt like having a cars exhaust pipe in my room) came in through the window. Overall: if I were to come to Davos privately, I would try to find a different place. But it was ok for a work trip alone.

Also, wo soll ich anfangen? Ab der Rezeption war es einfach nur eine Katastrophe! Kaum angekommen, wurde ich dort überhaupt nicht freundlich behandelt, das war wirklich der schlimmste Empfang, den ich je erlebt habe. Dann das Zimmer… Oh mein Gott! Für CHF 330 hätte ich mir wenigstens etwas anständig Aussehendes erwartet, aber was ich vorfand, war ein schäbiges, altmodisches und absolut ungemütliches Zimmer. Einfach nur enttäuschend! Und das Beste? Das Personal! Unfreundlicher geht’s echt nicht! Es war, als ob ich sie mit meiner blossen Anwesenheit gestört hätte. Keinerlei Gastfreundschaft, kein Lächeln, null Hilfsbereitschaft. Ich war wirklich fassungslos, wie schlecht man sich als Gast behandeln lassen kann. Für den Preis hätte ich echt mehr erwartet, aber dieses Hotel ist ein absoluter Reinfall. Ich kann jedem nur raten, hier einen grossen Bogen drum zu machen.

Great Davos Hotel
Amazing trip. 600M from the lift is misleading though... It's actually about 1Km.
Great stay, unfortunate location, unless you want to eat and shop

Weekend-Ausflug
Zimmer (etwas klein) sehr ansprechend eingerichtet mit schönem Balkon inkl bequemen Liegen. Obwohl Hotel sehr gut zentral gelegen, war es ruhig im Zimmer. Die Dusche ist in Badewanne integriert und leider ist Seitenwand etwas sehr kurz geraten, Fussboden danach klatschnass. Das Frühstück wurde im Restaurant Damoro angeboten. Ambiance top und Angebot Buffet wie auch zusätzliche Karte lässt kaum ein Wunsch offen. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit besonders freundlichem Personal. Auch die Kpche ist ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet was das Herz begehrt, von Lachs bis Sekt. Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Bett sehr bequem. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.
