Unfortunately, check-in was a bit chaotic. No effort was made to check whether the rooms were ready an hour before the official check-in began. The crowds were accordingly large. As there is no air conditioning in the hotel, the rooms are very warm on some hot days despite the altitude of Davos. It is therefore all the more surprising to have a very warm blanket in bed in the summer. Half board was fine. But breakfast was overrun by bus tourists. All in all, unfortunately, not a 4-star experience this time. This hotel is better outside of peak season or on days without bus tourists.

Wir konnten drei Stunden vor dem offiziellen Check-in unser Zimmer beziehen und den Parkplatz nutzen.
Das Hotel war überall sehr sauber.
Beim Check-in wurde uns für unseren Hund eine Reduktion von Fr. 5.00 pro Nacht angeboten, was allerdings beim Check-out nicht berücksichtigt wurde.

Wir haben ein grossräumiges und sehr sauberes Zimmer angetroffen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, Bahn und Bus sind in wenigen Schritten erreichbar. Es hat uns gut gefallen. Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Wir feierten hier unseren Hochzeitstag. Obwohl den Anlass bei der Tischreservation nur beiläufig erwähnt, bescherte uns das Restaurant einen speziell dafür edel dekorierten Tisch, spendierte uns einen Sekt aufs Haus und zum Schluss ein grosszügiges, feines Dessert. Der Service war grossartig, der Abend ein Erlebnis. Ein Maximum an Gastfreundschaft!

Nous étions 4 amis en week-end à Davos dans le cadre d’une compétition de voile sur le lac! Nous voulions prendre l’apéritif avec un vin blanc des Grisons. Uniquement trois blancs étrangers à la carte! Nous avons pris le Pinot Grigio 2022 pour un montant de 59.50 CHF. En cherchant l’origine de ce cépage nous avons été fortement surpris de le retrouver chez le magasin Denner au prix de 4.50 CHF la bouteille! Ce qui donne un prix multiplié par 13.2x. Intéressant comme business…

The location of the hotel is great for hiking. The superior room fully met expectations: clean, spacious, quiet. The evening meals do not get 4 stars: portions are too big, rather fatty, chicken strips in the starter and main course are rather unusual.
