As someone who enjoys luxury travel, you know when an establishment you are visiting is run by people who love their work, or by people who are merely doing their job executing the owner’s business plan. At Atmosphere, you feel that people are wearing their “Atmosphere shirts” with pride, because we understand that staff are treated nicely and feel “at home” - this reflects on how we were treated as guests as well. Of course any luxury experience does not come cheap, but we felt every Peso spent here would provide for a living for someone and potentially his or her family in the area. Atmosphere seems to care about the people, the environment, the local economic impact (they provide a soup kitchen) and even helps educating kids in the area with a school on the premise. The guest experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were taken care of wonderfully by every single member of staff. From the energizing greetings the morning all the way to the warm and heartfelt “good night”, we felt always welcome and looked after. The high standard, and attention to detail and 0quality are reflected in everything from their rooms, amenities, to their outstanding facilities and delicious food. The only improvement suggestion: our private pool light wasn’t working and we felt when we asked how to switch it on/fix it, staff were a bit overwhelmed and didn’t quite know how to handle the situation right away. Nevertheless the next evening the issue was addressed and the pool light was working as promised. Apart from that small detail, we enjoyed our stay alongside the unforgettable experiences and we hope we can come back soon with friends for more diving and island exploration fun!
