Datong Xinrong District Hotels

The hotel is located in the middle of the Great Wall Highway 1. The view is wide, the scenery is beautiful, the pastoral atmosphere is strong, the staff is very warm, the roof pool is very eye-catching, very suitable for taking pictures. The food is delicious, and the ground dish fried noodles are very like it.

The boss is very good, the sanitary conditions are also very good, the room is large, there is a small yard, if the weather is good, you can watch the stars, you can watch the sunrise on the mountain in the morning, the location is not very good to find

Hygienic: The hotel is very clean and the room has no smell. Environment: The yard outside is very large, and there is a sense of atmosphere at night. There are small animals in the yard. You can also see the flowers and plants outside from the windows on the first floor. Facilities: The facilities are very new and easy to use. The sink also has hot water 24 hours a day. Service: The hotel owner is very enthusiastic. It was very late when I arrived at the hotel, but the boss was still waiting for me at the door. He was very enthusiastic to help us check in. He told the boss that he was worried about the hot temperature of the room. The boss specially arranged the room on the first floor. I will bring friends to experience it next time~😁

1. I booked a room for two days, but I didn't expect that I needed to cancel one day of accommodation because I neglected to book the Yungang Grottoes tickets in advance. The hotel was very understanding and allowed early check-out, which was very humane. 2. It can be said that the high-rise hotel closest to the ancient city of Datong in the south can indeed see the ancient city wall. It is only about fifteen minutes' walk away, so it is not far. 3. The hotel service is very good. Whether it is hotel supplies or millet porridge for midnight snack, they are all delivered enthusiastically. 4. The ground parking lot is a little crowded, but as for the underground parking lot, it is no problem for small cars, but for a 7-seater commercial vehicle, you need to choose a good location, otherwise it will be difficult to drive out. Parking is still very convenient. 4. The breakfast is very convenient and has local characteristics of Datong.

This hotel was really good! It was in a smaller alley, so not alot of noise, close to the ancient city. In 10 minutes walk you will already have the views of the city walls. It was very easy to reach by bus from the high speed train station (Datongnan). The room was beautiful, bed was super comfy and everything was clean. No cigarette smell either. Staff was really friendly and could speak some English which was pleasant. There is also a coffee and cocktail bar in the lobby, we only tried the coffee, but it was a nice!

The JI Hotel Dayou Plaza branch boasts excellent facilities and a pleasant environment. The staff are also very polite, and the service is exceptionally attentive. After experiencing the room facilities, I feel some improvements would make my stay even more satisfying. 1. The only ceramic cups in the room were for brushing teeth or rinsing. For regular drinking, there were only two paper cups and a small tea set. The cups were quite small, which made drinking water inconvenient. It would be much better if the paper cups were replaced with ceramic ones. 2. It would be significantly better if the lights in the toilet and shower area were not connected to the vanity lights outside. Sometimes, children go to bed earlier, but if parents need light to shower, they have to turn on the vanity lights as well, which can disturb those who are sleeping. This design feels a bit inconsiderate. 3. The water pressure in the shower was a bit too strong. The faucet design was poor; to get hot water, you had to turn the handle far to the left, which resulted in very high pressure. If you didn't turn it that far left, the pressure was fine, but the water wasn't hot enough. This design was quite frustrating. Finally, I must give a huge shout-out to the hotel's buffet breakfast. It was truly excellent! There was a wide variety of options, including various noodles, fruits, stir-fried dishes, cold appetizers, bread, and much more. The selection was abundant, and the supply was plentiful. I stayed for two nights, and the hot dishes at the buffet breakfast were mostly different each day, which was a very nice touch. I would definitely consider staying at JI Hotel again.

We are a couple from Sweden that has been backpacking around the world for two years and we usually travel a lot. The stay was very nice! Very comfy bed with great duna and linen. The shower was awesome! And the room is beautiful and newly renovated. Try to get a room on a higher floor. The staff is really nice and helpful. The airflow is not great because they put it on 25 degrees on the whole hotel, we complained a bit and finally the fixed it. Thanks, Kind regards Johannes and Ebba

The hotel is located in a good location near shops Nd the old town sights. The rooms are large and the service on the executive floor was excellent, fresh fruit everyday not just once. The restaurant and room service are open lunch and diner time only, no late meals. Extensive breakfast is available. There is a bar but did not see many users. Did not see any gym or pool but it is possible I missed them. The bed was very comfortable and the high speed station (less than 2 hours to Beijng) is about 30 minutes away by taxi. Very enjoyable would revisit.

We spent four tonight's in Datong hotel, although this hotel's grandeur is somewhat jaded,we still felt we were staying somewhere special. Thoroughly enjoyed our balcony overlooking the gardens at the entrance. What impressed us most of all was the restaurant in the adjoining Grand Hotel. After a month, travelling in China,this was the most delicious and interesting food we encountered. It was so good we ate there each night and it gave us the opportunity to try a varied range of Chinese dishes. Datong was a really wonderful place to spend a few days, and I would highly recommend it.
