A super photogenic, internet-famous B&B! 😍 We stayed in Datong with our kids for a week and didn't change hotels. The location is fantastic. Right in front of the hotel is the Dai Wangfu, with its stunning red walls and green tiles. There was a drone light show over the hotel on the days we were there, and it was breathtaking. Walking distances to Dai Wangfu, the Four Archways, Yanhua Temple, the Drum Tower, Southeast Town, Heshengcai, and Fo Xiaoban... are all on the same street as the hotel, making it a very convenient city walk. The breakfast is plentiful, with new dishes available daily, and the secret millet porridge is incredibly delicious! 😍 The owners are incredibly low-key and welcoming, running several B&Bs, including Weizhuang, right next to the hotel. 😍 The rooms are fully voice-activated, so even if you didn't go anywhere, just wandering around the courtyard, the rooms, and the hallways is photogenic! 😍 I'd constantly ask the owner for good restaurants, and he and his wife enthusiastically recommended many local favorites, all of which have been open for over 20 years, and they never disappoint. (The boss has a lot of good tea in stock, remember to ask him for some good tea) 😂 I am very satisfied with this store and would recommend it to everyone👍

I was very satisfied with the room, which was a tatami room that my children loved. The facilities in the room were relatively new and very clean! The location is very close to the Dai Wangfu, only about a ten-minute walk. The service was absolutely perfect. The owner was very enthusiastic, and I could tell that he was very serious about running his homestay. I wish him a prosperous business.

This spontaneous trip was surprisingly pleasant. The B&B is new, the staff are very welcoming, and the stay was wonderful. On our second day, it was raining heavily, and we wanted to take a taxi to Huayan Temple. The owner offered to drive us and gave us an in-depth introduction to Datong along the way. Upon check-out, we were given handmade vinegar as a gift. The only minor drawback was that our room was located on the basement level, and the cell phone signal was poor. While we could connect to the Wi-Fi, it did not work for calls. Otherwise, everything else was very satisfactory.
