I just moved into this hotel on 10 July 2025. The looks of the hotel was spacious. The crew and manager was friendly too. I had difficulty in booking some itenary that was in Beijing as it needed their number and they were friendly in assisting my request. The room when I entered was as I expected spacious and nicely designed, and the scenery was good. I like the tea set that was on the table set upon the tatami mat. It feel comfortable and I just seat there and brew myself some tea enjoying the window scenery. The breakfast was nice and tasty. Glad that I have chosen here. Will stay there again if I come to Datong.

It takes 5-6 hours to take the high-speed train from Datong to Zhengzhou, so I decided to leave by plane with my classmates. My husband stayed one more night so that he could go to the Coal Mine Park to experience and learn about the Datong mining area. This is a newly opened hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. We booked a family room with our children, but there were no rooms available. This hotel deserves a five-star rating! Besides enjoying the scenery, the most important thing when traveling is good food and sleep, and this hotel delivers on both counts perfectly. The bedding is soft and snug, and the pillows are incredibly comfortable. I slept soundly all night, and before leaving, I was even tempted to buy a pillow to take home. The breakfast was surprisingly generous, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including local specialties like knife-cut noodles and mutton offal noodles—all prepared to order by the chef. The warm food was packed with authentic flavor, and every bite was filled with care. The accommodation experience didn't stop there; the hotel also offers amenities like a laundry room and a gym, making travel more convenient. In just two days, I not only fell in love with Datong, but also developed a special fondness for this hotel. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I bring my family. A quick suggestion: Datong has a lot of unique cultural and creative products. If the hotel could provide some cultural and creative gifts for the children staying with us, it would surely be even more popular with families. Finally, I must commend the hotel's service staff. From check-in to check-out, they were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Their warm, home-like warmth truly enhanced our stay. I especially want to commend Siqin, the hotel's hostess, and the driver who took us to the station—their service was truly heartwarming! Siqin's warm smile was incredibly warm throughout the entire experience. Whether patiently explaining the facilities during check-in or promptly responding to any questions along the way, she was incredibly attentive and caring, like family. It's these subtle touches of warmth that made the entire stay even more touching. I absolutely give them a huge thumbs up!
