Taj Chia Kutir Resort & Spa Darjeeling

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Taj Chia Kutir Darjeeling! Nestled in the heart of the hills, the tranquil atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. The tea plantation trek was a highlight, offering breathtaking views and a serene experience. The free yoga classes were a wonderful addition, helping us feel completely rejuvenated. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavorful options to suit every palate. Above all, the staff were exceptional – attentive, warm, and incredibly helpful. It was truly a memorable stay, and we can't wait to return!

Beautiful property with warm and friendly staff. Thank you Sunny for all your help (pre arrival) and post arrival. You and your team ensured we settled in well. Food at the restaurant (Chia Verandah) was mouth watering. The chefs and staff worked well in tandem to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. Abhijit and Kaustav and my servers Rahman and Kumar were professional and had eye for detail. Thank you Bhaskar for all your insights. Prosonjeet, pool boy was very friendly and kind. You people are doing most things right, keep up the good work. Thank you Mr Lote for your hospitality and to have us at your property.

Overall it was an excellent experience just the way I expect it. Right from the check in to check out it was a very comforting experience. Although each and every member of the staff, contributed to our pleasant experience I want to specially mention few people. It would be great you can convey our special thanks to them. Hope, I am getting their names right. 1) Sanjana: She made reservation process very easy and exhibited patience in answering my repeated queries. 2) Kumkum: She took special care in making check in process very smooth. She also was available to support us in various ways ( answering queries etc.) during our stay. Convey my special thanks to her. 3) Chef Pankaj Nagarkoti: He is a great chef and a great guy. Always available when we visited the all day diner. He prepared a special dinner for us which was fantastic. He also prepared few other special items during our stay. Thanks a lot. 4) Rohan: He was at all day diner and was very helpful. He also suggested to try out fresh vegetables. A very very sincere young *** always willing to put extra effort in making the guests happy. 5) Rishi: I met him at multiple restaurants. He always eager to help. Thanks a lot. 6) Giri, chef at Sonargaon (the lean and thin young guy with spec.): A very very sincere guy willing to put extra effort to learn. 7) Sachin: The guy who took care of room cleaning, supplying various items, changing bed covers etc. He was always available and very prompt.
