Crescent Resort, Darjeeling

The staff was really good. They was very cooperative. The room was nice and clean. The food quality is tremendously good. I really really love it here and would recommend for couples like us. The resturant quality is good and would recommend to try the local food here. They serve the best kind of food.

Great hotel. Lovely view, friendly and efficient staff. Excellent hotel restaurant, with a variety of delicious local and Indian dishes. Comfortable rooms, slightly leaking showers. Front desk needs to stock small change for foreign travellers, so that we can tip staff and make small purchases.

This hotel had an old British era charm to it. The cleanliness and the upkeep of the hotel ***** with staff and food was an excellent experience. The entry to the hotel is very steep though and needs excellent driving skills to reach, hence suggest the management to have an alternate entrance for more travellers.

It’s hotel and not resort. Near to Mall Road but too steep. No vehicle facilities available to drop upto main road. Rooms are good but toilets are not user friendly for the kids and old age persons. Hand faucet lever is too tight that old people and kids cannot operate it. Tissue paper stand is at very odd place that each time it falls down. 24 hours hot water facility not available. It’s upto 11am in morning. View from room is good. Parking facilities not available only pick and drop available. It my personal experience that, if occupancy is too low, they may shift you at any time to other level rooms under the umbrella of maintenance and service of house keeping is bit slow while shifting. I need to shift on last day with my old parents to one level down which was not comfortable to them to change their entire set up. Food is oily and spicy. They stop tandoor at any time under umbrella of maintenance. So tandoor and kabab were not available for all 3 days of stay. Breakfast options are average. Menu option are limited and half of items not served under false reason of maintenance. Staff is good and well behaved and polite. Only choose this hotel and not resort if you are fine with above limitations. But they take care foreigners in better way and in priority then Indian.
