Nontas Suites

For a short stay ok For a short stay it was ok. Free Parking very close and easy to access. Positive: Parking (free), very friendly staff, fast check in, A/C, location, balcony, cleaness. Negative only the bathroom. Very small, no shower curtain and low water pressure.

from outside it looks modern, but when you enter the room, its from 1985.. they should get some better, modern furniture.. shower didnt have any shower curtains/glass doors..

We stayed in a 1 bed apartment in the Nontas suites for 3 weeks September/October. We stayed in the hotel in May but as we don't use the pool much we thought we'd try the newly refurbished apartments just over the road. We weren't disappointed. Our room was spacious and quiet being at the back of the building away from the busy road. If I had to look for anything to improve our stay it would be some form of shade on the terrace as we couldn't use it from about 10am to 4pm as it was so hot. The cleaning staff are very efficient and friendly and Filio on reception is really welcoming and helpful. The pool area at the hotel over the road is lovely anc the staff at the pool bar are friendly. Yes, there are always little niggles - some people may miss a hair dryer (not us), the shower is typically Greek with no shower screen so the bathroom floor gets wet and a toaster would be nice, but I would still choose to stay here whenever we return to Kato Doratso because we felt comfortable and at home. Raphael the best bartender in the area by far. If only I was 40 years younger I would have him up a mountain !! A major credit to the hotel. Lovely to chat to. Fantastic English conversationalist. Need to stock tonic water.for the gin Aldi is only up the road !!!. Need advocaat and squirty cream for my favourite Trifle shots. Try a chocolate milkshake with baileys and Vodka. To die for !!!! Seriously... get on it!!!

Amazing place. Perfect location for a chilled holiday, yet within easy reach of Chania centre. The staff here were amazing - Raphael, George and Martha worked so hard on the bar and the rooms were always cleaned to a high standard too. I travelled on my own with my 2 children and sent an email to request a room near to the pool. Upon arrival I had a perfect room Over looking the pool. Will definitely be back. Thank you Nontas for an amazing 11 days!
