This hotel could be so much better since the location and surrounding nature is very nice but unfortunately it is not up to international standards and far away from being a wellness or luxury hotel. Rooms I switched rooms because the air condition was extremely loud in my first room + the bathroom was filthy (mold in shower, surfaces haven’t been cleaned in weeks/months etc). The second room was better regarding the noise of the AC but the bathroom was similarly filthy. I desinfected the toilet myself. There was dirt everywhere and no proper cleaning seems to happen in this hotel. Bed sheets and mattress also full of spots. Pool The pool itself is nice. The (newly installed?) water fountain doesn’t make any sense to me, it just makes the place noisier. The pool bar and staff is underwhelming. Staff inattentive, you have to ask for everything starting with a towel and topper for the sunbeds. Foods and drinks can be ordered but don’t expect the staff to come and ask you if you would like to order something… drinks were fine, food arrived cold. Pool towels/towels sometimes with spots and/or bad smell. Public shower and toilet by the pool are also in a disgusting condition, same as in the room. Restaurant I booked half board and the variety of food was good and as expected. No complaints here. The staff in the restaurant is much better than at the pool. However, cleanliness issues are also present here. Table cloths show dirt from dinner the day before etc… Apparently the hotel is under a new management and in the process of renovating the rooms, as I was told twice while raising the issues with management. I don’t see how the very basics like regularly cleaning the rooms can be excused by a new management… this should be one of the core processes in a hotel. This hotel lacks basic standards. There is enough staff around to make this hotel better but no one seems to care. Overall my stay was disappointing and I expected much more. Directly after checkin in I felt that I had made a mistake by booking this hotel. To be fair, management apologized and dropped my additional room charges (in a rather complicated process with lots of waiting in the lobby) which was nice but I’d rather stayed in a clean hotel instead that had met my expectations.
