We booked the forest dwelling with the pool for 2 nights with 2 kids and we had a wonderful time. Our butler was Ruchira who did a great job. No request was too big for him. The staff does a wonderful job giving guests space but being available when needed. The kids enjoyed the private pool with the hot weather. Would highly recommend this hotel for tasty meals and great hospitality. Thank you Ruchira and Vil Uyana staff!

We had the most wonderful time staying at Vil Uyana. It was incredible from beginning to end- the staff couldn’t do enough, the food was absolutely delicious and we loved our accommodation- so unique. We also did the sustainability tour which was so interesting and the nocturnal tour- this got us up close to lots of creatures. Would also recommend the spa- a very special treat.

Incredible experience for our honeymoon. Located in an amazing place, in the heart of Sri Lanka. We climbed Sigariya rock before heading to the hotel. There is so much wildlife on site; we saw monkeys close by and even a Land Monitor on a walk back to our lodge. Our visit was enhanced by the amazing Ruchira, our butler. His kindness and smile genuinely added to our days and we looked forward to seeing him - thank you for making our visit so special.

We spent 4 nights at Vi; Uyana and it was absolutely spectacular! We were upgraded to a water villa and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Our naturalist tours around the property were very informative and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable. We are amateur birders and we were treated to a great many new species! We spent a day on safari as well, and our guide from Vil Uyana was excellent. And on our last night, we were surprised to find that staff had prepared a special candlelight dinnner for us for our anniversary! It is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff, and we would recommend it 100%. And you are very close to the cultural sites of Sigiriya and Dambulla, both of which we would recommend seeing!!

Bul Uyana was an exceptional experience. We stayed 3 nights and wished it was longer. Beautiful rooms, wonderful food but best was the serenity of being able to wander around and experience the sounds and sights of nature. We were looked after by our own butler, an exceptional individual called Tushara whose warm and welcoming demeanour, matched by professionalisms made us feel so special. Highly recommend. Would love to visit again for a week!
