Incredible experience for our honeymoon. Located in an amazing place, in the heart of Sri Lanka. We climbed Sigariya rock before heading to the hotel. There is so much wildlife on site; we saw monkeys close by and even a Land Monitor on a walk back to our lodge. Our visit was enhanced by the amazing Ruchira, our butler. His kindness and smile genuinely added to our days and we looked forward to seeing him - thank you for making our visit so special.

We spent 4 nights at Vi; Uyana and it was absolutely spectacular! We were upgraded to a water villa and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Our naturalist tours around the property were very informative and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable. We are amateur birders and we were treated to a great many new species! We spent a day on safari as well, and our guide from Vil Uyana was excellent. And on our last night, we were surprised to find that staff had prepared a special candlelight dinnner for us for our anniversary! It is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff, and we would recommend it 100%. And you are very close to the cultural sites of Sigiriya and Dambulla, both of which we would recommend seeing!!

Bul Uyana was an exceptional experience. We stayed 3 nights and wished it was longer. Beautiful rooms, wonderful food but best was the serenity of being able to wander around and experience the sounds and sights of nature. We were looked after by our own butler, an exceptional individual called Tushara whose warm and welcoming demeanour, matched by professionalisms made us feel so special. Highly recommend. Would love to visit again for a week!

Das Ressort hat uns sehr gefallen: tolle Lage mitten in der Natur, Nachhaltigkeit, überaus freundliches Personal und feines Essen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unsere Ansprechperson im Ressort Ruchira erwähnen. Er hat uns mit seiner außergewöhnlichen Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit verwöhnt. Er hat für uns alles bestens organisiert. Speziell Freude hatten wir auch der abendlichen Loris-Tour, die der Ranger des Ressorts kompetent geführt hat. Für uns hat einfach alles gepasst. Fantastic wonderfully appointed villas in a beautiful natural location. The food was great, particularly the breakfasts. The staff were incredibly friendly. We’d really like to recognise our butler Ruchira who was brilliant - nothing was too much trouble. I would really recommend this hotel.
