The Locale in Dallas is ideally situated in the heart of Victory Park, making it a convenient and vibrant place to stay. Finding the property and accessing our apartment was seamless, and the views were truly spectacular. The apartment was fully furnished and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed—including a washer and dryer, hair dryer, coffee supplies, towels, and cable TV. What really stood out, though, were the amenities. The pool area was beautiful and inviting, and the fitness center on the 7th floor was spacious, modern, and fully equipped. One important note: the noise from the nearby highway was noticeable, particularly at night. However, using a white noise app helped significantly, and we still enjoyed restful nights. Overall, I highly recommend staying at The Locale—just be sure to bring along a sound machine or download a white noise app for optimal comfort.

My husband & I enjoyed a weekend stay here. Check in and check out was a breeze. The view of Dallas from our room was amazing!! We visited the onsite coffee shop twice. My only recommendation would be to make sure you bring any refreshments you may want with you. I had a hankering for a coke late at night. There is nowhere to get one without driving out. All in all, we would return here again.

The GUILD “invention” essentially gets a block of condo’s in tony locations. Rents them out like a luxury hotel but with little luxury. Charges more than Air BnB and has no experienced personnel to help you; we talked to inexperienced 7 different people in person and on the phone and online, with little or no hotel training. Nice people but hotel stupid. FRUSTRATING!!! Check in and parking took well over an hour. And Guild charged as much as ZA-ZA, our go to Dallas venue. Mediocre linens, furniture, and without service one expects north of $300/night (hidden charges added)! IT IS NO BARGAIN! Yes, the views and location were impressive. But if you’re used to four or five stars, buckle up for a FAKE AIR BNB, 3 stars minus at best, with your money going to MR. Guild Corporation, and not to gracious helpful hosts and hostesses like on AirBnB. Expect Guild to sell to a dot com and fail within a year.

Very poor service
I called 4x ask for an early check in. No one answered on two occasions. Two different people told me two different things. One person said it wasn’t possible for an early check in (for a fee). I was happy to pay. The second person told me they would alert me as soon as my assigned room has been cleaned. I didn’t receive any alert. I was supposed to receive a text with my keycafe code to retrieve my keys. I didn’t receive any alert. I had to call to get it. I got my keycard and opened the unit. There were crumbs everywhere. The bed was unmade and used. The bathroom was uncleaned and toilet was full. They profusely apologized and offered 57$ for my troubles. Will never use Locale again. I normally wouldn’t write reviews, but the 57$ felt more insulting than no refund.

Not a good experience
This is not in any way a hotel. It is a huge apartment building overlooking a noisy interstate highway. The parking situation is confusing and difficult. There are no staff to help you. My first room had a broken toilet and a bathtub that was stained brown. I was moved to a new room, but had to take all of my luggage down from the 24th floor at 11pm, turn in a key to a lockbox, get a new code and key, and haul everything back upstairs. If you are looking for an easy travel experience, this is not your place.

Ce n’est pas un hôtel mais des appartements plutôt cossus, bien équipés et proches du centre. L’expérience client est catastrophique er cela démarre avec le Check in que vous devez faire vous même en ligne (il faut tout ressaisir y compris son numéro de carte) mais le vrai problème est le scan de la pièce d’identité (le passeport ne marche pas) : il faut que la photo soit parfaite, sans reflet et lisible. Un iPhone 13 ne suffit pas, heureusement qu’un collègue avait un iPhone 15. L’opération m’a pris au moins 20 min et a généré beaucoup de stress. Pas des numéro de téléphone à joindre en cas de difficulté, juste un numéro WhatsApp avec qui on essaye de communiquer par messagerie. Mais le vrai problème est le bruit ! L’immeuble est situé au bord de la voie ferrée et surtout d’une autoroute 2 fois 5 voies. Un cauchemard. Au 24e étage, on a l’impression que les camions et trains passent dans la chambre. J’ai essayé d’avoir une chambre moins bruyante, évidemment impossible. Bref à éviter absolument
