The bathroom vents were making loud noises, resembling an animal stuck inside. An engineer was called at 1 AM, but unfortunately, he locked the bathroom door with our belongings inside while working on it. Upon further inspection, we noticed that the other vents in the room were extremely dirty (see attached pictures). We requested an upgrade, but the new room despite being labeled a "villa” was nearly identical, just in a different building. This room also had a plumbing issue, producing an intermittent, loud whale-like sound. : The gym itself was great but seemed oversold. As a hotel guest, I was surprised to find that I couldn’t use the locker room, which is a first for me. Instead, there was only a small bathroom stall for changing, with no bench or space to place belongings. Several hotel staff members entered our room unannounced an hour before our checkout time, which was unsettling. That said, I appreciated that they accommodated a late checkout, extending it from 11 AM to noon. When I checked out, I requested for our four bags to be taken to the concierge area. However, this was not done, and we nearly missed our Uber to the airport. I have concerns regarding the hotel's maintenance, the hotels filthy filters, the lack of proper changing room facilities, and the communication surrounding luggage handling. These areas need improvement to enhance the guest experience.
