The room is very small and crowded. The air conditioning is very bad, and the switch on the wall is just for show. The front desk doesn't know how to turn it on. The heater is in the corner. I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Dallas Downtown, and overall, it was a good experience with a few drawbacks.
First, the location is fantastic! It’s within walking distance of Dealey Plaza, Reunion Tower, and plenty of dining options. Super convenient if you're exploring downtown Dallas. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus, with a decent selection to start the day.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made check-in smooth. The hotel itself has a historic charm, and the rooms were clean and modern, though a bit smaller than expected. One downside was the parking situation—there’s no on-site parking, so I had to park a few blocks away, which wasn’t ideal. Also, only one elevator was working during my stay, which meant longer wait times.
Despite those minor inconveniences, I had a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a well-located hotel with good amenities and don’t mind the parking challenge, I’d recommend it!

The hotel lobby was clean and big, with nice staff and good smells. Bathroom smelled like chemicals. Our room was way too small, you could barely fit 3 suitcases in there. The baggage cart also didn't fit into the room which was weird. Overall, an OK hotel.
